Ground report per BerryEaglPhotog: Mom & Dad watching red tail hawk screaming in front of nest. 2 red tails flying around now, then 3. 2 were fighting each other; they are leaving now. D out BSD 1:37:59; D in BSD w/pinecone branch 1:43:41, he drags on top of M, she removes it, he loses his balance while placing it; M & D spend the next couple of hours sitting together enjoying the sun & cooler air; D lays down batmobile-style 3:21:30; M out BSD 3:56:35; D to LB 3:59:15 & out 3:59:58; M in FD 7:29:08; D lands on LB 7:29:12, hops to nest 7:29:43; D out BD 7:33:29; M out BD 7:34:52; IR light on 7:36:34pm.
