AM: Mr & Mrs Rocky scampering around the nest 1:08:25; P calls out from a
distance every now and then as sirens are heard 1:12:21 - 1:13:43; D in BSD
1:18:25am; digs in nest for a bit then hops to RB 1:21:08; D's on the RB
5:58:47, hops to nest 5:59:03 where he fluffs the fluff; D flops down 6:01:299,
kicking his feet; just as quickly stands back up 6:01:32; D rouses 6:03:32,
then hops to RB 6:03:54; brief glimpse of D's beak shows that he's still on the
RB 7:16:06, D hops to nest 7:16:21; M calls out from nearby 7:16:42; D out BSD
7:19:21; IR light off 7:19:55; D flies by on right side 7:31:50 & in BSD
w/stick FD 7:31:57; D hops onto front rail 7:35:01 & flies out FD 7:35:23;
M in FD 8:12:45, she squees in delight as D flies in the FD with a nice fish
8:12:59; M promptly starts in on the head 8:13:25 as D fluffs the fluff; D to
RB 8:20:19; D to nest 8:22:26 to help M nestorize; D preens 8:27:30; D to LB
8:28:52 & out 8:29:08; M quietly stands on the nest with a contented smile,
just looking around; M stretches her wings above her head 11:08:39; break over,
M rakes some of the fluff 11:09:04, pausing to look around; M out BSD 11:47:43;
D in FD w/bottom half of a squirrel 12:35:36; D out BSD 12:37:10; M lands on LB
12:43:30, walks down the branch 12:44:22, steps to nest 12:44:40; after looking
around a long time, M finally moves over to check out lunch 12:58:20, then
picks it up 12:58:28 & starts nibbling; M starts calling out as she sees D
1:39:38; D in BSD 1:40:09; D picks up a morsel from back rail and begins to eat
1:40:38; M swallows a big piece of squirrel 1:41:16; M eats a morsel by D
1:42:18; then goes back to the squirrel 1:42:39; D digs in bole 1:43:01; D out
BSD 1:46:46; D lands on LB clutching some fluff 1:51:00, hops to nest 1:51:07;
M warns him away from the squirrel 1:51:26; D rouses 1:53:46; D out BSD
1:56:49; M gulps down a big piece of food 1:59:39; she tries to down the pelt
2:00:35 but spits it back out, tries again 2:01:19 with the same result, and
again 2:01:51, she finally gulps it down 2:02:11, getting the last piece in
2:02:40; M to LB 2:13:45 & out 2:13:47. Cam
1 resets 4:05pm; IR light comes on 5:57:23; D in to LB just as IR comes on
again 6:01:16; he hops to nest 6:02:05; does a little nest straightening then
goes out BSD 6:04:09; D lands left side of nest in tree 10:02:12; hops to nest
from left side 10:04:19; Fluffs the bole then hops to RB 10:06:35pm
