EARLY MORN: M gets up 1:22:11am: stretches then calls out 1:22:34; D answers from nearby 1:22:41 and they both chatter for a few; M scratches an itch 1:22:53; M backs up to LF rail then preens 1:23:20; turns 1:25:10; M hops onto LB 1:25:22; D calls and M answers 1:25:36; M's wings come into view as she repositions 1:25:44; PS heard 1:26:04; M hops back to nest 1:27:36; rolls-n-fluffs eggs 1:27:53; Finally wiggles onto eggs 1:29:26; M preens wing 1:45:46; she gets up to roll eggs 1:46:42; M calls out 1:48:12; D answers 1:48:20; M preens for a bit then settles onto eggs 1:51:15. MORN: M up 6:56:54, she calls out/chatters to D 6:57:04; stretches out her left wing, rouses & preens 6:57:46; M rolls-n-fluffs, rolls some more then snuggles down 7:00:39; M calls to D again 7:14:31; M gets up 7:17:29 & moves away from the bole chirping softly; S/C #1 M flies out BSD 7:18:38; D in BSD 7:18:58, he gives his eggs a roll or two 7:19:19 then shimmies down 7:20:04; IR light off 7:35:18; D up for egg duty 7:49:17, rouses 7:49:27, shimmies down 7:50:06; D up for egg duty 8:07:34 with a roll-roll here and a fluff-fluff there, here a roll there a fluff, everywhere a roll-n-fluff; D up again for egg duty 8:17:39 & 8:56:46, rouses 8:56:51; D alerts 9:15:07;  (I think he was fussing at Eddie for making all that noise...LOL); S/C #2 M in FD w/fluff 9:23:20; D relinquishes his comfy spot 9:23:36; gives M a status report 9:23:42; D walks onto Y nook 9:23:49; and out 9:23:58; M heads for her eggs 9:25:01 gives them a roll & fluffs the fluff; M grabs a big stick from the left & drops it on the right side of nest 9:26:20 then she does some intensive aerating in & around the bole; M greets her eggs 9:25:26;  wiggles onto eggs 9:29:16; D in BSD w/fluff 9:34:26 as M softly chirps at him; D puts the fluff closer to M and spreads it a bit 9:34:29; D turns around then backs into M & accidentally sits on her 9:34:58 and has to flap wings; D hops to LB 9:35:25; and out 9:35:49; M preens every now and then until Cam 1 reset 10:16:29am. M up for egg duty 11:07:38, 11:41:30, 1:38:58, 1:45:05 & 1:45:41; M takes care of an itch 2:54:13 then gets up for egg duty 2:55:14 & 3:08:39; S/C #3 M chirps/calls out & then full-fledge alerts 3:26:29, D lands on 11-o’clock branch 3:26:48 & joins in the alert; M gets up 3:26:58 & carefully moves away from the bole 3:27:07, she searches the area then flies out the BSD 3:27:24; D glides to nest 3:27:31, checks his eggs & snuggles down 3:27:53; D up for egg duty 3:55:55 & 4:22:17; D gets up 5:01:23 & calls out quite loudly, scratches his head 5:02:00 & rouses 5:02:23; D tends to his eggs 5:03:26; S/C #4 M in BSD w/branch 5:10:04; D gets up 5:10:10, steps up to Y-nook 5:10:20 chatters to M, hops up the LB 5:10:42 & M gets vocal; D flies out FD 5:10:49; M tries to move the branch 5:11:34 but doesn’t have much luck; M checks her eggs 5:14:45 & snuggles down 5:15:40; M gets up 5:58:52 for egg duty; M’s tail feathers & petticoats blow in the wind as M gets up 6:26:29, she has a hard time because the wonky branch is in her way; M grabs the wonky branch w/her beak & tries to get it under control 6:26:53, she manages to extract herself from its clutches 6:27:03 & tries moving it; M manages to grab it loose 6:27:49 & after a couple of tenuous minutes (afraid she was going to step on her eggs), gets it placed on the front rail 6:29:30; M peers out the BSD as D comes in w/fish 6:29:41 (NOW he shows up!); M & D talk & then he flies out the BD 6:30:17; M makes short work of the fish (gives a new meaning to "gone in 60 seconds") Okay, not that quick; M swallows tail 6:32:08; Energized, she returns to tackling the branch 6:32:40; M grabs it and using her wings to help, she pushes it farther onto the front rail 6:34:21; and again at 6:35:07; M grabs it and hops with it onto the  rail 6:35:27; M returns her attention back to the eggs 6:36:18; IR comes on 6:36:39; Rolls and fluffs then settles 6:39:47pm.

Video: Intruder Invades Nest

M wakes up 6:09:03am, wiggles a couple times then does some serious preening; she picks at the fluff in front of her 6:11:17, more preening on & off from 6:11:31-6:23:32; M tucks her head for a little more shut-eye 6:23:32-6:44:42 when she awakens; preens 6:51:55, tucks head again 6:52:45; M wakes up abruptly quite vocal 6:58:44 & chatters, she quiets down & preens 7:01:36; M calls to D 7:32:35; M gets up carefully 7:33:33 & rolls her eggs & fluffs 7:33:57; M chirps softly 7:35:07, she shimmies down 7:35:30, gets all comfy & pulls fluff up close; M calls out again 7:36:14; IR light off 7:36:23; M calls D again 7:36:53; M gets up 7:37:44, chirps & calls out. S/C #1 M out BSD 7:38:12; D lands on LB 7:38:25, he moves down the LB & steps into nest 7:38:43, he checks the eggs & lays down 7:39:16; D gets up 7:41:35; repositions and rolls eggs then settles 7:42:10; again at 8:04:45; 8:22:37; 8:39:11; D vocalizes 8:48:05 & 9:23:10; M can be heard 9:28:30; D vocalizes 9:29:00; M can be heard approaching 9:29:31. S/C #2 M in FD 9:29:34; D gets up 9:29:37 and vocalizes more; D flies to 11 o'clock branch 9:29:59 still on alert; M pulls at nestover 9:30:11; M vocalizes 9:30:21; then so does D 9:30:30; D out toward perch tree 9:30:36; M goes to eggs 9:31:06; rolls, fluffs then settles down 9:32:09; M gets up for a fluff n roll 9:48:26; wiggles onto eggs 9:50:22; M gets up 10:26:57, repositions, rolls & does quite a bit of aerating/fluffing before settling back down at 10:28:52; Cam 1 reset 11:01am; M gets up 11:03:20; fluff n roll then wiggles back down 11:04:22; M starts calling out 11:47:24; gets up 11:49:48 still calling out; D in to LB w/fluff&sticks 11:49:52; to nest 11:49:58; S/C #3 Mom not happy with what D brought, hops to LB 11:50:16; and out 11:50:24; D rolls eggs 11:50:31; settles 11:50:43; D up for a quick roll 11:51:44, then settles down with a shimmy 11:51:53; D up 12:07:28pm, repositions & rolls eggs, then back down 12:07:48; D still on duty 12:37:00; D gets up to tend to his eggs 12:45:10, 1:27:11, 1:45:52, 2:27:48 & 2:41:16; D alerts 3:55:00; shadow passes over nest 3:55:11; D gets up 3:55:14 still alerting; lays back down 3:55:50; D alerts 4:05:25 and gets off eggs 4:05:31; rolls eggs then lays down 4:05:52; up to roll eggs 4:19:29, 4:42:19; D perks up as he hears noises 4:50:52; rustling sound 4:51:16, 4:51:31, 4:51:35, 4:52:10; and then things got tense when D gets vocal at 4:52:11 and wing tips can be seen behind nest; an adult intruder comes in the BD at 4:52:26 & D is up in a flash to attack & fend off the intruder, he lunges at the intruder with wings flapping; D grabs intruder’s upper leg with right talons 4:52:29; pushing intruder off left side of nest 4:52:32; D says "Not on my watch!" 4:52:36. D was fierce in successfully defending his nest, showing his determination & strength in the process – YAY Dad! D checks eggs 4:52:38; he vocalizes: “And don't come back!" 4:52:45; rolls eggs 4:52:50; snuggles down 4:53:05; D vocalizes 5:35:03. S/C #4 M in BSD 5:35:09; D gets up 5:35:12; he vocalizes more 5:35:28; D to LB 5:35:44; D vocalizes 5:36:02; M joins in 5:36:26; D flies out over M's head 5:37:04; D in to LB 5:37:51; he vocalizes 5:37:54; D out 5:38:25 as M is about to check on eggs; she rolls and fluffs then stretches up looking at something 5:38:50; alerts 5:39:01. S/C #5 D in BSD alerting 5:39:11; D grabs nestover and begins to tear apart and eat 5:40:02; M out BSD 5:40:13; D goes to eggs 5:42:43; rolls and settles down 5:42:54. S/C #6 M in BSD 5:59:48; both vocalize and D gets up 6:00:02; D nibbles at nestover 6:00:27; rolls eggs 6:00:44; D settles on eggs as M stands guard 6:01:37; D gets up 6:08:24; rolls then back down 6:09:28; he gets up again 6:12:31; D out BD 6:13:09 and heads to back trees; M vocalizes 6:13:23; M rolls and fluffs then shimmies onto eggs 6:15:56; IR light comes on 6:18:41; Rocky appears on right side then disappears toward Cam 2 branch 7:29:07pm.

Video: Dad Meets Egg #2

After a restful night, M gets up 6:37:08am to inspect her eggs; she fluffs 6:37:43 & lays back down 6:38:04; M tucks her head 6:40:08; M calls to D 7:27:48, D lands on LB 7:27:52, both have plenty to say to each other; S/C #1 M stands up 7:28:13, stretches 7:28:28 and they "talk" some more; M slowly moves away from the eggs 7:29:00 (still chatting w/D), M flies out BSD 7:30:34; D gets a good look and sees 2 eggs for the first time, he walks down LB 7:30:40 then hops to nest 7:30:46 & immediately goes to the eggs, after a few egg rolls a happy D snuggles down 7:31:36; IR light off 7:35:34. Cam 1 reset 7:46am. D rolls egg 8:11:36, 8:16:07, 8:37:58; D tracks something 9:21:54, vocally alerts 9:22:03, M calls out from nearby 9:22:08, M lands on LB 9:22:13 & both are alerting; S/C #2 D stands up 9:29:22, talks to M, then flies out BSD 9:29:41, M hops to nest 9:30:26, slowly straddles the eggs, rolls them 9:31:13, wiggles down to incubate 9:33:31; S/C #3 D in FD w/fluff 11:19:16, M stands up 11:20:25, moves away from the eggs 11:20:36, M throws back her head & loudly alerts 11:20:44 then D adds his voice, both continue to watch something, D rouses 11:22:10, M out BSD 11:22:33, D rolls eggs 11:22:57, shimmies down 11:23:54; S/C #4 D stands up 2:04:11, flies out BSD 2:05:00, M in BSD 2:05:17, looks around, then moves toward eggs 2:08:00, M rolls eggs & fluffs fluff, briefly snuggles down 2:09:28 but gets back up for more fluffing, lays back down 2:10:50 only to pop back up to reposition, finally settling down 2:11:18; M starts softly calling 4:17:36, D in FD w/fluff 4:17:54, D moves M's pinecone bouquet 4:18:13 & M chirps, D digs in the fluff by M's head (trying to get her up?) 4:25:04, M stands up, still chirping 4:25:18, M arranges the fluff D brought in 4:26:20, M stretches her leg & tail 4:27:45, D flies out BD 4:27:47, M rolls eggs 4:28:33 & fluffs fluff, M snuggles down 4:29:26; M gets up to roll eggs 4:47:04, wiggles back down 4:49:13; gets up to roll some more 4:49:34, snuggles back down 4:50:04; D lands on LB & startles M 5:17:44, D hops across M to land on the nest 5:18:14, D pecks at & digs in the fluff 5:18:57 and is practically standing on M's wing & tail, D moves a stick 5:20:29, M ignores D and pulls up some fluff 5:20:56, D backs up closer to M 5:21:29, he moves away to, peck at fluff 5:22:35, D gets antsy & looks out BD 5:23:14, then D flies out BSD 5:23:36 to perch on back tree; M gets up to roll & fluff 5:33:00; IR light on 6:05:37pm.

IR light off 7:46:18am. D in BSD 9:19:04, D starts digging in nest; gorgeous BD fly-in by M 9:25:16; D moves the forked branch on the back rail about 1/2 inch 9:29:27; D steps up to RB 9:38:45 & flies out 9:38:56; D in BSD w/huge forked branch 9:45:38, hilarity ensues as they try to wrestle it in place; M squeals as she catches her balance 9:48:10; M & D continue to wrestle with the monster branch & D finally gets it placed on the left back rail 10:11:10. D to RB 10:23:57, D back to nest 10:24:25 to help M with the bole; D to RB 10:26:08, he finally flies out 10:37:45; M out FD 10:46:57 (cam skipped). Cam 1 reset 11:04. M in FD 11:37:32, she starts to work on Dad's monster branch 11:38:06 & moves it

Beautiful fly-in the BD by D 4:06:36 & M close behind comes in the BSD 4:06:43; D lays down 4:19:50; D gets up 4:36:49; M squeaks as she yawns (crop drop) 4:37:03; D squats down 4:38:00 then lays down 4:39:22; D stands up 4:46:03; M to LB 5:15:15 & out 5:15:17; D to LB 5:18:44 & out 5:19:45.
