branch on right side on nest 6:22:41, hops to a different branch 6:24:26 as M
digs in the nest; D turns around on the branch & hops back to the other
branch 6:24:56; D moves out of view 6:26:28, then moves further out 6:27:09
mockingbird screams & M jumps 6:27:48; D moves to a back branch (possibly
flies out) 6:28:15; M scratches her head 6:28:56; D flies behind nest 6:29:46
& in over RB w/small stick 6:29:55; M backs up onto right rail to get out
of D's way 6:32:17; M steps back to nest 6:40:06; M out BSD 6:43:53; M in FD
w/stick 6:48:53 and D 6:49:07 tells her he wants it, stick war 6:49:14 (Dad wins);
D to RB 6:52:36 (possibly files out 6:53:15); D lands on RB 6:59:53, hops to

aggravate M; MB dive-bombs M 8:51:41 & harasses her some more for several

another MB attack around 10:21:00 & just before
11:00:00; she finally has her fill of pesky MB & flies out the BSD

for almost four hours enjoying his nest & the day; he’s still on the nest
at 1:21:00; D to LB 2:15:45 & out 2:15:51; windy afternoon as M flies in
BSD 3:21:56; D in BSD 3:24:51 & he moves a stick; D to front-right rail
3:38:01; D hops to RB 3:38:07& out 3:38:45; D in BSD w/stick 3:42:21; brief
stick war 3:42:26 & a bit of beaking 3:42:32; nest still swaying in the
wind as D hops to LB 3:53:40 & holds on tight; D flies off 3:55:43; M lays
down 4:27:51; M watches something 5:37:15 & quickly hops to her feet
5:37:19; M digs in the nest 5:43:34, shakes her head 5:44:58 before hunkering
down in the bole; wind dies down a bit & M stands up 6:04:48; M flies out
FD 6:06:55; D in BSD 7:32:21, he digs in the nest a bit, looks around, then

Bluebird activity around nest 9:17:33-9:19:08; E lands on right side back tree
9:28:36, appears to hop from branch to branch 9:29:08 (or could be some
hanky-panky going on back there, lol); E leaves back tree 9:29:58 (didn’t see a
second E leave); D in BD w/small stick 9:34:34; D places it on right rail,
fluffs a bit, sits a bit, then hops to LB 9:45:16 & out 9:45:27; M in BSD w/small
log-type stick 9:48:44, she puts it on front rail; M aerates the bole 9:49:07
& fluffs some fluff 9:51:48; D in BD with a large wonky branch 9:52:28,
stick war ensues; feisty beaking 9:53:20; stick war continues 9:53:30, M wins!
D picks up M’s log stick 9:54:08 & puts it in back while M attempts to get
the wonky branch placed just right on the left rail; D tweaks branch 9:54:16
& M helps causing the branch to get moved to the front; intermittent feisty
beaking (lol); M gives up & lets D have the branch, he tweaks it & about
nudges it off the front rail 9:56:44; M preens while D tweaks 9:57:35; D
finally finishes tweaking & moves to the bole & aerates 9:59:03; D to
LB 10:03:46 & out 10:04:05; M out BSD 10:17:26; M approaches nest 1:32:36
& lands in nest from the BSD 1:32:39, D lands right behind her one second
later 1:32:40; both just sit & look around, feathers blowing in the wind; D

both nestorize a bit; Twiggy time for D 7:27:12; both fluffing the fluff
7:27:40; IR light off 7:29:14; D steps up on front rail 7:30:20, hops up the LB
7:30:27 & out 7:31:11. D in BSD w/pine bough 8:38:37; M out BSD 8:42:08; M
in BSD w/forked branch (she almost over-shot the nest) 8:44:52; D takes it away
from M 8:45:03 & places it on the right rail 8:45:22 & tweaks it; M

& aerate the nest; M picks up & moves a big pile of fluff 7:34:26,
using her wing & D for balance; D out BD 7:45:25 & M watches him fly
around; M out BSD 8:12:04; D in FD w/fluff 11:13:09; wet & bedraggled M
lands on LB 11:13:20, hops to nest 11:13:46; D rouses 11:17:26; M out BD

After placing it on the back rail and giving it a trim, he turns to dig in the

w/fluff 7:46:45; M in FD w/big branch 7:48:50; D tugs it from her grasp 7:48:56
and places it on the front rail 7:49:04; M not happy with its placement, grabs

the front rail where D had it originally 7:49:44; Not happy with that, she
picks it up to move it 7:50:09; D grabs an end 7:50:23; They both work with it
