#1 D lands on LB w/fluff 7:21:11, hops to nest 7:21:16; M chirps softly,
takes the fluff & spreads it 7:21:26; M gets up 7:21:46, she carefully
moves away from the bole & flies out BSD 7:22:31; D checks his eggs &
shimmies down 7:23:05; D up to roll eggs 8:01:12, lays back down 8:01:41,
entertains himself with a pinecone 8:02:00; D up to reposition & roll eggs
8:03:46, 8:07:52, 8:54:55, 8:58:15, 9:27:44, 9:35:10, 10:16:26, 10:35:07; light
rain or mist showing on D's feather 10:50:00; D stands up & rain rolls off
his back 11:57:05, flaps wings to shake off more rain 11:57:12; S/C #2 D calls out 11:57:32, hops to LB
11:57:40 & flies out 11:57:51, M in FD 11:58:23, rolls eggs 11:58:57 &
digs in fluff, wiggles down 12:01:17; S/C
#3 D in BSD w/fluff 2:03:41, M leans forward & helps to spread it

Cam 1 reset 2:37pm; M flies behind nest 3:28:39 S/C #4 M in BSD w/fluff 3:28:57, D stands up 3:29:01, D to RB
3:29:23 & out 3:29:39, M rolls eggs 3:30:13 & fluffs fluff, settling in
to incubate 3:33:34; M starts alerting out 4:56:34, stands up still yelling and
tracks something 4:57:14, cranes her head to stare 4:57:44, vocal again
4:58:06, moves to the FD to yell some more 4:58:26, alert calls 5:01:26, moves
toward the back-left side 5:01:52, M vocal 5:05:57 then flies out BSD 5:06:12,
M lands on LB & alerts 5:07:41, still tracking something 5:11:50, flies off
5:14:14, chatter calls heard from nearby 5:14:33, M in FD 5:19:17 & vocal
5:19:23, M tracks something & alerts again 5:20:53, M vocal 5:28:03 &
5:30:13 then flies out BSD 5:30:19, D in BSD 5:30:35 & watches the action
happening off the nest (M's vocals can be heard), D flies across the nest &
out FD 5:31:23; S/C #5 D lands on LB
5:33:02 and looks around 5:33:49, D rolls eggs 5:33:56, snuggles down 5:34:01; S/C #6 M lands on LB 6:34:20, D stands
up 6:34:23 & talks to M, D out BSD 6:35:04, M hops to nest 6:35:16, rolls
eggs 6:35:40 & fluffs fluff, shimmies down 6:37:25 but gets up to
reposition; IR light on 6:38:39, M wiggles down again 6:39:36pm.

Rainy
night & morning; Eagle (M?) squawking heard (prob on back tree perch)
7:19:36 & 7:39:00; IR light off 7:39:24; more E vocals (unless it's that
mimic bluejay BEP mentioned) 7:39:36, 7:56:25; 7:57:27. M in FD 10:04:52; she
squees as D flies in BD with a nice fish breakfast for her 10:05:08; M squees
in delight & pulls the fish to her 10:05:23; D busies himself
w/nestorations while M eats; D to RB 10:08:55; M tries to swallow fish tail
10:09:57 but has a hard time, she finally gets it down 10:10:41; D steps back
down to nest from RB 10:10:54 (he’d like to have a bite or two, but M says,
Ohhhh no you don’t and eats some more); D moves a pinecone 10:11:52 & moves
some fluff; D to LB 10:13:32, rouses, & out 10:13:57; M stops momentarily
to see where he went, then resumes eating; crop drop 10:14:41; M gulps down the
last of her breakfish 10:19:12; M out BSD 10:22:13. Ground Report per GailMJ
10:35:00: “GM from the nest. Yucky and rainy but I had time to kill b4 my next
meeting. Ma is in the big pine tree behind the Protected Area sign.” D in BD
w/squirrel 11:56:51; D tries to straighten the stick that M knocked over on the
LB 11:56:39; he yanks another forked branch out from front rail 11:57:29 &
moves it to right rail; D out BSD 12:00:47. D in FD with big ole’ twiggy branch
12:22:06, he places it on the right front rail & begins tweaking it,
inching it over to the center as he tweaks; can see M fly by in background
prior to her coming in FD 12:35:53; D steps up to RB 12:53:37 & out
12:54:15; D flies by 1:00:30, then in FD w/fluff 1:00:45, he sits w/M for a
minute then tackles a branch to work on 1:02:06; kisses 1:05:20, then D
aerates; D to LB 1:10:14 & out 1:10:35; M aerates the bole 1:31:37 then
sits & waits for D; D in FD w/small stick 2:10:25; D nestorizes while M
watches; beaking 2:31:15; M steps off right rail onto nest 2:45:36; D starts
digging in the bole 2:45:51, M digs alongside D 2:46:42; M stops digging, D
also stops then moves to front of nest 2:48:05, both him & M watch
something 2:48:53; D out BD 2:52:57; M crop drops 3:29:52, preens 3:44:31; M
peers through the trees watching for D 4:17:49; D in BD w/UFO 4:18:36; M
nibbles the UFO 4:19:08; M opts for the squirrel instead 4:22:00; D steps into
the pantry & eats nestover squirrel 4:25:39; D to 11-o’clock branch 4:30:02
. . . squirrel pelt gets stuck on D's talons 5:42:09, he walks backwards trying
to dislodge it, finally succeeds 5:42:46; D out BSD 5:43:42; M in FD 5:47:32; M
digs in bole 5:50:38, slowly lays down 5:51:30. Cam 1 reset 10:15pm. M stands
up 11:09:18, backs up to right rail, PS's 11:10:33.

light off 7:25:34am; D flies behind the nest 7:25:47 & in BSD w/twig
7:25:51; D scratches his head 7:26:20 then does some beak-plowing; D moves a
stick from the left rail 7:27:25 to the right and then almost back to where it
came from; M flies by on the right side 7:27:54; M in FD 7:28:12; D moves the
same stick 7:31:11 (in a circle, ends up putting it on the back rail); M to LB
7:32:46 & out 7:33:07; D trims stick on the front-left 7:33:11; D to LB 7:35:58
& out 7:36:08; D in FD w/stick 7:42:12; a Y-shaped stick flips over and
takes a brief ride on D's neck (lol) 7:43:26; D walks up RB 7:49:00 & flies
out 7:49:11; D in FD w/another Y-shaped stick 7:57:05; D to LB 8:02:30, flies
out 8:05:38; Deer can be seen on ground to the left from 8:13:37 to 8:27:26; D
in FD w/stick 8:16:51, places it and then flies out BD 8:20:42; D in BD
w/little log 9:01:11; D out BSD 9:02:37; D does a beautiful fly-in the BD
w/stick 9:04:09; Finally places it on back left rail 9:04:54; D out BD 9:08:37;
D in FD w/fluff 9:35:28; D rearranges sticks 9:36:47; D rouses 9:39:40; M in FD
w/food (roadkill squirrel?) 9:43:43; Beaking as D tried to check out what she
brought 9:43:58; D gives up and digs in bole 9:44:29; M starts to eat 9:44:54;
D to RB 9:48:32; turns around 9:48:36; out toward back 9:49:12; can see flying
behind nest 9:49:13; D in BSD w/twig 9:51:43; drops it on M's food 9:51:50;
then places it at front 9:52:03; D gives Twiggy some attention 9:53:26; D to RB
9:56:00 & out 9:56:19; D in FD w/pinecone branch slightly hitting M with it
9:59:40; he places it on right rail 9:59:46; M moves her food more toward the
pantry 10:00:19; M snaps at D as he gets too close to the food 10:05:44; M
decides to move it more, then eats 10:08:48; D walks onto Y-nook 10:11:57; D
out 10:12:20; D in FD w/squirrel 10:15:07; D rouses 10:18:01; He goes to work
on Twiggy and right back rails 10:18:08; ; D tosses a pinecone 10:20:52; M
pulls the squirrel toward her 10:21:49; D retrieves the pinecone 10:21:58; and
it pops out of his mouth to land near squirrel 10:22:03; M moves the squirrel
to the back 10:22:18; D discretely nibbles on other food 10:22:31; M starts
defurring the squirrel 10:23:46; D to LB 10:25:25; and out 10:26:32; D in FD
w/stick 10:33:12; D to RB 10:38:02 & out 10:38:26; D in FD w/big stick
10:46:24; hits M with it 10:46:41; puts over M's tail 10:46:46; then pulls
making M move 10:46:51; While taking it across the nest, it lands on his back
10:47:15; he places it on the left rail 10:47:24; nope, back to right 10:47:41;
then to back 10:49:04; won't fit so back to front 10:49:44; finally to right
10:50:19; D continues his nestorations as M eats; D moves a stick from under M
10:58:36; M tries to swallow pelt 11:15:58; and again 11:16:28; almost gone
11:17:06; M takes it back out then does a crop drop 11:17:57; D out BD
11:25:22; After nibbling on it more, M tries to down it again 11:28:57; and
gone, gulp 11:29:15; D in FD w/fluff
11:30:41; M hands D a stick 11:31:01; M out BSD 11:32:47; D takes advantage of
M being gone and nibbles in pantry then starts on the squirrel 11:33:54; Cam 1
reset 11:58am; D finishes nibbling & heads for the left rail to move some
sticks & fluff 12:02:53pm; M in FD w/long stick 12:05:26, D assists &
places it on the right front rail; M backs up & perches on the back rail
12:14:47 to get a better view of D’s nestorations; M out BSD 12:42:22; D out BD
1:03:36; Nice fly in as D comes in BSD w/stick in his mouth 1:11:03; M flies
behind nest 1:13:22; M in FD w/pine sprig in her mouth 1:13:34; D takes it from
her 1:13:41; Both do some nestorations then stand looking around until D hops
to the RB 1:34:31 & out 1:34:54; D in FD w/fluff 1:38:29; he does more
nestorations slowly covering squirrel then M hops to the LB from the back of
the nest 1:56:24; M out 1:56:39; D to LB 1:56:45; D out 1:57:31; D lands on LB
with stick in right talon 2:51:12; He loses it when he hops to the nest and the
stick remains hung by the Y nook 2:51:26; D moves another stick and the new one
pokes up a bit 2:51:40; D digs up the squirrel 2:52:59 and begins to eat; M in
to LB 2:54:42; turns her head to see what D is eating 2:54:58; D stops eating
after the second look M gives him and moves to the bole 2:55:29; D works on
vertical stick at front 2:58:43; M hops to nest 3:02:34; D to 11 o'clock branch
3:13:27; He flies off 3:17:17; M turns around 3:52:03; D in BD w/fluff
partially covering squirrel 4:18:37; D does some nestorations then lays in bole
kicking his feet to shape 4:31:45; up 4:31:48; D shows interest in the squirrel
so M beaks him 4:32:54; D goes back to the bole 4:36:15; M stars nibbling on
the squirrel 4:36:55; D to RB 4:38:47; D out 4:39:04; D in FD w/stick almost
landing on M and she gives him a scolding 4:42:13; D places stick 4:42:32; D to
RB 4:44:57; and out 4:46:11; M continues eating then D comes in BSD w/fluff
5:33:56; D out BD 5:38:14; M downs the pelt 5:39:28; Gulp 5:39:59; M out BSD
5:41:05; D approaches
as M heads into the back trees 5:41:10; D in BSD 5:41:14; Looks around, moves a
stick then goes out BSD 5:43:50; IR light comes on 5:49:06; Cam 1 reset 7:52pm.

1 reset 3:29am. M slept in the bole most of the night, she gets up at 5:15:06, PS
off the back rail 5:57:33; M calls out to D 6:55:51 & 7:01:39; D in BSD
7:02:01, he gets right to work fluffing the bole 7:02:11 & M joins in
7:02:40; M out BSD 7:09:19, D out over LB 7:09:27; IR light off 7:16:07; D
flies by on right side 7:27:48 then flies in BD w/squirrel 7:27:54; He looks
around then starts eating 7:32:48; D finishes eating and digs in bole 8:06:59;
D hops to the 11 o'clock branch 8:16:20; He flies off 8:18:08; D in FD
w/pinecone branch 8:22:16; Places it on left side then trims 8:22:24; breaks
off a pinecone 8:23:55; works on front rail 8:25:07; Watches the area for a bit
then fluffs bole 8:38:44; After watching the area for a bit, he lays down in
bole kicking with his feet to shape it 9:52:34; gets up to stretch 10:33:30;
rouses 10:35:06; He watches area then goes out BD 11:07:18; D in FD w/fluff
11:12:28; rouses 11:15:04; D moves squirrel then has a snack 11:32:29; really
watches something 11:48:31; looking straight up 11:48:56; alerts 11:49:47; D
moves to bole 11:50:49; M in to LB 11:52:21; to nest 11:52:39; D moves a big
piece of fluff 11:52:59; D works on left rail 11:55:02; back to bole 11:55:35;
D tries to trim Twiggy some more 11:56:24; D moves to bole making M back onto
the right front rail 11:59:22; M crop drop 11:59:38; D trims front rail
12:01:20; he rouses 12:08:45; D moves to back rail to do adjustments 12:10:20;
M yawns 12:10:32; D flies onto the 11 o'clock branch 12:11:39; flies off to the
left 12:15:17; Eagle approaches from the back trees (D?) and does a fly-by to
the right 12:16:50; tries to land on left side under LB 12:17:13; M looking up
watching 12:17:23; D lands on outer LB 12:17:29; M still tracking something
12:17:30; D calls out from LB 12:17:36 & 12:18:18; can hear a hawk in the
distance 12:18:23; M digs in bole 12:19:49; D may of flown off 12:20:08; M crop
drop 12:50:21 & 12:58:54; M notices the remains of the squirrel 1:36:17;
she picks at it 1:36:42; moves it 1:37:46; M spent a lot of her nest time
surveying her domain; M out BSD 1:54:12; D in BD 3:02:20; rouses 3:10:50; after
watching around for a bit, D snacks on the squirrel 3:30:43; D out BSD 3:54:28;
D in BD w/big stick 5:35:35; after dancing around with it, he steps on it so he
can trim it 5:36:13; he moves it to under cam 2 branch 5:36:42; then by Twiggy
5:37:06; he nibbles on Twiggy 5:38:01;
Moves to pick up squirrel 5:39:17; Starts eating 5:39:31; IR comes on 5:57:40
& 5:57:54; D to LB 5:58:07 and out 5:58:42; Rocky appears on back rail
6:55:39; he chews on leftovers 7:08:07; He takes it across the nest and over
the side 7:13:53pm.

LB 6:55:56; and out 6:56:22; IR goes off 7:03:39; D in FD w/fluff 7:08:15; D
moves a pinecone 7:08:55; M grabs D's fluff and pulls it toward bole 7:09:03; D
works on back rail 7:10:30; Twiggy demands his attention 7:10:59; he focuses on rail again 7:11:08; then on
fluff and bole 7:12:01; D to RB 7:16:11; out 7:18:13; D in FD w/stk 7:21:38;
After placing it on the back rail and giving it a trim, he turns to dig in the
bole 7:23:10; M out BSD 7:24:47; D to RB 7:28:38; and out 7:29:03; D in BSD
w/fluff 7:46:45; M in FD w/big branch 7:48:50; D tugs it from her grasp 7:48:56
and places it on the front rail 7:49:04; M not happy with its placement, grabs
it making D backstep 7:49:16; Stick war 7:49:23; M wins and she places it on
the front rail where D had it originally 7:49:44; Not happy with that, she
picks it up to move it 7:50:09; D grabs an end 7:50:23; They both work with it
and D finally places it on the left front rail 7:51:26; D to RB 8:15:13; and
out 8:16:40; D in FD w/long branch 8:17:55; He struggles to pull it onto the
nest 8:18:04; M grabs it and lifts it with no problem 8:18:31; Stick war
8:18:36 with some beak bonking 8:18:46; D takes possession dragging it over M
and places it on the back rail 8:18:49; M stretches 8:24:14; D tries once again
to break Twiggy 8:24:36; D walks onto RB 8:29:14; and out 8:29:55; M watches
area as the winds pick up; Cam 1 reset 9:04am; M moves to back of nest 9:23:41;
M out BSD 9:24:13. D in FD w/fluff 12:06:01pm; D out BSD 12:18:18; M in FD
w/fluff 12:23:36; D in to LB 12:23:42; D to nest to help with fluff 12:23:56; M
moves a stick 12:24:05; D moves it 12:24:15; D to RB 12:31:25; and out
12:32:10; D in BSD w/stk 12:36:41; D rouses 12:38:23; D and Twiggy go another

her way to back of nest 1:58:28; M out BSD 1:59:03. Cam
1 reset 2:00 & again 2:30. M in FD w/stick 3:12:46; M calls out several
times starting at 3:33:19; D lands on LB 4:37:50, hops to nest 4:37:56 &
goes to work on back rail; P's beak a bit 4:45:27 then pick at fluff 4:45:39; D
out BSD 4:48:53; D in FD w/twig 4:51:13; D bites at Twiggy 4:54:00; M tries to
help 4:54:38 & it leads to more back & forth beaking; M out BSD
4:55:11; M in BSD w/stick 4:57:22; D out BSD 5:06:21; M out BSD 5:09:39; D in
BSD 5:23:25; M flies toward nest 5:31:48 & in BSD 5:31:52; M tries to tame
