EARLY MORN: D to nest from 11 o’clock branch 1:57:06am, he pecks around a bit then hops to RB 2:00:12; Rocky scampers across the nest & up the 9 o’clock branch 3:12:29; D immediately hops from RB to nest 3:12:32 and says, “Ohhhh no, not on my watch!”; satisfied Rocky has been taken care of, D hops back up to RB 3:47:46; but D is wrong – Rocky scampers through the nest again 5:03:11 & D hops from RB to rail with some wing slaps 5:03:15; D hops back to RB 5:11:19; D to nest 5:56:12; back to RB 5:59:43; D chatters 5:59:54, M answers from a short distance away 6:00:05, they sing a nice duet; D back to nest 6:04:16; D to RB 6:10:38; noise heard (M attempting to land or D leaving?) 7:11:56, M in FD 7:12:04; IR light off 7:22:21; M calls out her breakfast order 7:22:28 then starts fluffing the fluff; D in BSD w/stick 7:24:19; D rouses 7:27:15, hops to LB 7:27:17, flies off 7:27:40; M rouses 7:32:56, flies out FD 7:33:58; D in BSD w/UFO (mangled furry mess, squirrel?) 8:37:56 & you can hear M squeeing; M in BSD 8:38:06; M happily accepts D's food gift 8:38:15; tries gulping it down whole 8:38:38; while M eats, D digs up t& rearranges fluff; D decides it's time to rearrange sticks 8:40:17; D sneezes 8:43:18, then rouses 8:43:55; D to LB 8:46:42 & out 8:46:53; D flies in BSD (over M) w/stick 8:49:38; M tries to get the stick when D places it at her feet 8:50:00, but D takes it back; D relents and gives M the stick 8:50:17; D to RB 8:56:20 & out 8:56:27. M scratches head with left talon 10:39:56, rouses 10:44:19; M flaps wings for balance 11:02:58 & then stretches, does it again 11:06:20; M watches something with interest, lots of neck craning & head turning 11:36:41; M flies out FD 11:47:31. M spent the night on the nest, she was sleeping comfortably w/her head tucked at 6:00:00am; she woke up at 6:21:36 to scratch her head; M preens 6:23:43 then tucks her head for a little more rest 6:24:38, awake again for more preening 6:31:25; D in BSD 7:04:08, they both do some bole fluffing; IR light off 7:15:24; D rouses 7:23:22; D hops to LB 7:23:38 & out 7:24:22; D flies behind nest 7:37:18 & in FD w/stick 7:37:27; M to LB 7:39:01 as D bites on Twiggy; M out 7:39:32; D to LB 7:40:26 & out 7:40:33; D in BSD w/stick 7:49:41 & places it on back rail 7:50:19, then it’s Twiggy time 7:50:32; D out BSD 8:00:50. D in BD w/mangled coot(UFO) 10:00:35; starts eating 10:01:01; D stops eating as M lands on LB 10:11:27; D starts digging in nest 10:11:33; M hops to nest 10:11:38; M grabs food to pluck & eat 10:12:38;  D rouses 10:15:08 then sneezes 10:15:25; D moves log from back rail 10:15:45; Twiggy tweak 10:16:50; D walks onto right rail 10:20:23; then hops to RB 10:20:26; out 10:21:44; D in BD w/stick 10:30:40; D rouses 10:32:48; M tries to swallow a wing as D watches 10:34:15; D finds a stick near M to move 10:39:05; M takes a hop to the center of the nest 10:42:32; and helps D dig 10:42:46; D rouses again 10:45:31; D is determined to defeat Twiggy 10:45:40; D lays in bole and shapes with his feet 10:50:15; gets up to adjust some sticks 10:51:47; D steps on M's foot as he makes his way to the back 10:52:22 and their talons are together for a few;  they let go 10:52:32; D rouses 11:19:07; Both watch the area for a while; Something really has D's attention 11:40:05; D hops to the 11 o'clock branch 11:48:25; M does a PS off the back of the nest 12:11:44; D takes off from the 11 o'clock branch 12:11:46; After watching him leave, M goes out FD over LB 12:11:48; D flies by on his way to the nest 2:29:01, D in BSD w/branch 2:29:03; M in BSD w/left talon full of fluff 2:31:45; D to RB 2:38:52 & out 2:39:09; D flies by 2:43:25, D in BSD w/branch 2:43:29, D to LB 2:49:05 & out 2:49:17; D in BSD w/large forked branch which gets swiped all over M 2:52:20; bit of a stick war & beaking 2:52:44, which turns into quite a tussle 2:53:20; D finally gets it place at the right front of nest 2:55:26; D to LB 3:16:12 & out 3:16:35; D flies by again on his way to the nest 3:23:43, D in BSD 3:23:44 w/log; he totes it all over the nest & settles on leaving it on the left rail 3:25:42; D tackles Twiggy 3:26:38 & succeeds in breaking off the end at 3:27:12 YAY! D to RB 3:33:54 & out 3:34:03; M to LB 3:35:55 & out 3:35:59. Fly-by 4:46:17, D in BSD w/another big branch 4:46:18; D nibbles on leftover scraps 5:16:25; can see M flying in w/branch 5:29:59, which she drops just before reaching the nest 5:30:01 (drats!); D out BD 5:38:17; M still on nest 5:55:00; IR light on 5:55:50pm.

D in BSD with both talons full of fluff 8:10:53, D to LB 8:14:57 & out 8:15:43; D returns with more fluff via the BSD 9:04:19 (not sure what time he left); M in FD 9:27:25, M out BSD 9:31:55; D in BSD with a small UFO (bird?) 10:00:03, he leaves the tidbit for M & nestorizes; M in FD 10:05:29, she gets the UFO 10:05:52 & scarfs it down 10:05:58; D works on Twiggy 10:15:22; D out BSD 10:17:42; M squees as D approaches the nest 10:19:25, D in BD with branch 10:19:26, he totes it around trying to get it placed & M tries to help 10:20:07 which causes D to get caught up between the fork in it 10:20:14, he finally gets it placed on the left front rail 10:22:55; after sitting a spell w/M, D heads out the BSD 10:37:30; D in FD w/forked pinecone branch 10:42:03; M tries to help 10:42:24, D gets it placed on the left rail 10:43:22; D scratches his head 10:54:28, he yawns 11:00:43 then hops to the RB 11:00:53 & out 11:01:09; D in FD w/branch 11:04:41, M takes it 11:05:02, but D gets it back 11:05:06; D to LB 11:17:33 & out 11:17:43; M out BSD 11:46:01. D in FD w/forked branch 12:41:56pm; after placing the branch & straightening up the nest, D steps up on the LB 12:55:12 & flies off 12:55:22; D in FD with a huge pinecone branch 1:11:36, this one gets placed on the front rail 1:12:40; D fluffs the bole & lays down (shimmying all the way) 1:15:31; after a much deserved rest, D takes off out the BSD 1:30:49. IR light on 5:48:58. D in FD with a small UFO 5:56:44; after eating his snack, D flies up to the 11-o’clock branch 6:05:05pm. D moves higher up the 11-o'clock branch 7:28:01; hops to nest 8:15:57; goes to RB 8:19:19; flapping sound 8:47:16pm (Dad either roused, flapped wings or flew off).

M in BSD 9:21:03, M out BSD 10:01:06; D in BSD w/UFO (partial furry critter?) 10:06:53; D moves the food 10:07:50 then starts eating; D finishes his meal 10:14:00; D out BSD 10:41:32; D in BD w/fluff 11:49:12; D lays down 11:53:33; M flies behind the nest & D stands up 11:57:35; M lands on LB 11:57:42; M hops to nest 11:58:20; D works on Twiggy 12:02:54pm; M calls out 12:07:56; D out BD 12:21:12; D in BD w/stick 12:23:40; M to LB 12:46:19, flaps a few times then flies out 12:46:25; D flies out FD 12:46:47; D in to LB 3:32:24; after surveying the area, D hops to the nest 3:35:22 & lays down 3:35:30; but gets back up pretty quick to fix some twigs; M in FD w/fluff 3:44:26; M & D nestorize for a bit & then D lays down 3:46:25 to test out his bole work; D gets back up, pecks on the fluff & then starts to work on Twiggy 3:47:35; D flies out BD 4:12:10 & briefly lands on 11-o'clock branch 4:12:12; M moves to center of nest 4:12:17 & starts digging & rearranging fluff 4:12:22; M sits on her haunches & continues to work on the fluff 4:14:23; M leans forward to lay down 4:15:16; sits back up to pull over some fluff 4:15:34; M scoots around to work on different fluff 4:16:16; M stands up 4:18:00; D flies from 11-o'clock branch to nest 4:59:36; M to RB 5:00:48 as D digs in the nest; M hops to left side of nest 5:01:27; M out BSD 5:01:58; D out BSD 5:08:10. D in to LB 8:07:30; turns around on branch 8:08:06; out 8:08:34; Fly-by after D breaks off a pinecone branch from the nest tree 8:11:17 then circles around on his approach; D in BSD w/pinecone branch 8:11:27, he places it on right rail & then proceeds to move it around; D does some general nestorations & then works on a large branch in the back 8:13:03, which gets moved to the front rail 8:13:21 & then to the right rail 8:14:07; still not satisfied, Dad moves it to the left side of nest 8:14:23, then back to the right side 8:14:39, to the front again 8:14:53, to the back left 8:15:52; D works on Twiggy 8:22:41; D out BSD 8:25:10. D in BD w/UFO 8:35:25, really getting into the ‘sketti 8:35:51; after finishing his scrumptious meal, D sits around for an hour enjoying the sun, then he does a little nestorizing 9:31:50 & then sits some more; D out BSD 10:21:19. D in to LB 1:02:24pm, he searches the sky before hopping to nest 1:03:00; Moves a pinecone 1:04:12; M in FD 1:04:31; both dig in bole 1:05:33; D works on Twiggy 1:08:01; Both survey their domain for a bit before going back to nestorations 1:33:31; D out BSD 1:40:01; D in BD w/stk 1:48:45; Places it on the back rail then moves a pinecone 1:49:02; D shapes the bole 1:49:52; D to LB 1:50:59; and out 1:51:12; M out BSD 1:53:14; D in over LB 3:33:10, M follows 3:33:15; Both dig in nest 3:33:49; then both watch something for a while; D rouses 3:45:09;  D out BSD 3:47:56; M out BSD 3:49:23.
