MORNING: M preens 12:20:39 & 12:21:19. Cam 1 reset 12:24am. Rocky runs out
on a right-side branch 12:37:53, M raises her wings 12:37:43 & they have a
stare-off until Rocky scurries away 12:38:02; M preens her belly 12:43:25; M
repositions 12:46:44 & fluffs the fluff; M warbles (stretches) 12:47:22; M
preens her shoulder 12:50:13; M preens chest/belly 1:25:01; waggles her tail
1:25:34; sirens heard from the street, after they pass M & D chatter
1:41:20. M preens 2:24:18; M tucks her head for some sleep time 2:30:44, she
awakens to preen 3:31:32, scratches head 3:33:56, she tucks her head to sleep
3:34:54; M wakes up 4:19:39, PS off the right front rail 4:22:59; more sleepy
time for M 4:37:06; awake again 5:24:41, preens 5:25:38 then tucks head again.
MORNING: M wakes up 6:21:10, yawns 6:23:45, preens & tucks her head again
6:23:58; awakens 6:31:55, preens; M slowly turns around 6:37:52, preens &
tucks 6:42:11; M wakes up 6:57:33, preens chest 6:59:19; M calls out 7:00:49
& every min or so after; D in BSD
7:10:34; both dig in bole 7:10:51; D hops to LB 7:17:35 & out
7:18:10; M still working on fluff 7:18:24; IR light off 7:25:11; M preens back
7:31:10; preens leg 7:34:53; M softly calls out 7:35:58; 7:36:43 & every
min or so; stretches tails 7:57:23; turns around 7:57:51 & moves some
fluff; 7:59:0; D in FD 7:58:42, both dig in nest; M swipes head on shoulder
7:59:39, scratches head 8:00:00; M beaks D 8:01:38; D rouses 8:02:06 then
waggles his tail; D out BSD 8:01:21; D in BD w/UFO (something furry…mouse?
mole?) 8:04:47, M picks up the food 8:04:57 & gobbles it down whole; D
crowds against M 8:05:25 to dig in the nest; D flies out BSD 8:10:03; after D leaves,
M calls out every min or so. Ground

plucks at the fluff 8:45:22 then stretches her wing & tail 8:45:27; crop
drops 8:50:49, scratches head 8:50:57 & preens; must have missed a spot,
scratches head again 8:51:32; M stretches 8:55:42 & backs up, digs in nest
8:55:54; rearranges fluff 8:56:55; pulls fluff toward her 8:57:57, lays down
8:58:47; M calls out 9:22:02, 9:28:31, every few mins she calls out; M stands
up 9:36:25, plucks at the fluff, still calling out now & then; M preens
wing; 9:41:45; M stretches wing 10:03:47; scratches head 10:04:52, preens
10:05:02; warbles (stretches) 10:09:15; M fluffs, spreads & pecks in bole

visitor center & beyond, she may have crossed the highway. M in BSD
4:06:43, panting from her flight; M calls out 4:21:29; M scratches head
4:30:54, turns to pull in some fluff 4:31:14; preens wing 4:07:29, then chest,
then foot; calls out 4:44:40, 4:46:41; crop drop 4:49:16; preens 5:01:10; calls
out 5:03:08, 5:03:37, etc.; M digs in bole 5:05:34; M calls out 5:06:31 & D
flies in BSD 5:06:33; D checks for egg, nope…so he digs in nest 5:07:42; D crop
drops 5:13:24; pulls in fluff then snuggles into bole 5:13:54; D stands up
5:15:00; M squees 5:16:15; D pecks at fluff 5:23:49 then squats in the bole; M
chirps 5:26:46, 5:27:16, etc.; D stands up 5:47:30, preens 5:47:39 then pecks
at fluff 5:47:58; D digs in bole 5:48:18; D moves to front of nest 5:51:53; M
moves to bole 5:54:16; D to LB 5:53:22 & out 5:53:32; M pulls on the fluff
5:54:10; IR light on 6:13:20pm. M preens 6:16:12 then digs in nest; pulls in
some fluff 6:17:13, pecks at fluff; lays down 6:17:44; rearranges fluff
6:17:58; M stands up 7:32:27; preens shoulder 7:36:02; hiccups? 8:10:03; M
turns & preens 8:34:40; scratches head 8:35:43, then preens chest; M
stretches 8:40:27; moves to center of nest 8:41:09 & pecks at fluff; more
digging 8:41:30 & 8:42:02; M lays down 8:46:58; M stands up 9:08:20; M digs
in nest 9:43:45 settles down 9:45:44; Rocky scampers out on a limb on Cam 2
branch 10:40:40; M stands up 11:14:56; preens 11:17:21; slowly moves to back of
nest 11:18:23; PS 11:18:59; preens 11:19;46; walks back to center of enst 11:20:12;
preens 11:20:25 then fluffs some fluff; lays back down 11:22:39pm.
