comfy, nestled down in the nest; preens her wing 12:08:21, tucks her head to
sleep 12:09:19; M wakes up 12:13:43, stands up to preen her wing 12:13:51; lays
back down 12:14:54; tucks head 12:22:01; M wakes up 12:25:57, briefly stands with
feathers ruffled 12:25:58, semi-reclines, then sits up 12:26:19, shifts &
partially lies back down with tail up 12:27:27; slowly relaxes & lays
further down 12:27:51; preens chest feathers; tail all the way down & face
planted 12:31:26; M wakes up (hearing Rocky?) 12:52:59; Cam 1 reset 1:28am. M
preens chest feathers 2:18:15; she tucks head to sleep 2:21:44; M wakes up
3:24:19 & preens; M takes a quick bird nap from 3:39:11 to 3:55:29; M
preens back feathers 4:42:22; M preens brood patch 4:53:27; back to sleep
5:00:53; awake 5:16:49; M repeats this pattern a couple more times. MORNING: M
aerates the bole 6:28:41, chirps & lays down 6:29:59; M calls to D 7:06:43;
M gets up slowly 7:07:30; D lands on LB 7:08:08; D to nest 7:08:20, aerates; M
out BSD 7:11:09; D tracks her departure then hops to LB 7:11:43 & out
7:12:01; IR light off 7:25:53. D in FD 8:16:33; moves a stick 8:16:39; changes
mind and moves again turning in a circle only to place it where it was 8:16:45;
fluffs bole 8:17:08; moves stick then drops it 8:18:17; grabs stick again
8:18:24; and places left of Y 8:18:27; D out BSD 8:25:56; M seen coming out of
back trees 9:54:23; M in BSD w/stick 9:54:33; D in BSD w/mangled squirrel?
10:39:17; M says thanks as she takes it 10:39:24; D straightens up sticks on
right rail 10:39:44; then fluffs bole 10:39:53; M starts eating 10:40:16; D out
BSD 10:40:57; M starts announcing D's arrival 11:04:23; D in BSD w/squirrel
11:04:27; M gently takes it 11:04:31; D fluffs bole 11:05:20; D to RB 11:07:44;
and out 11:07:55; Something catches M's interest and she watches for a bit
11:24:10; M out BSD 11:28:00; D in BSD 2:03:34; M in BSD 2:03:38; M vocally
alerts 2:03:42 & D joins in; D eats nestover leftovers 2:04:05 while M keeps
her eagle eye on the territory; M nibbles on the food 2:10:17; D finishes his
snack & starts nestorizing 2:11:02; D to RB 2:19:07 & out 2:19:16; M
out FD 2:29:12; D in BSD 3:40:10; D looks around then starts nibbling on the
squirrel 3:40:33, starts chowing down 3:40:48; D looks around then starts
digging in the fluff 3:53:27; M in FD w/fluff 3:54:30; D rouses 3:56:17; D
flies out over RB 4:00:32; M preens 4:07:46; M works on defurring & eating
the nestover squirrel 4:28:17; gulps down the rest of it 4:50:33, finally gets
it down 4:51:25; D in BSD 5:10:55, scoots across bole 5:11:45; D works on the
bole under M's watchful eye 5:13:26; D to front rail 5:21:34, M softly squees,
D hops to RB 5:21:51 & flies out 5:22:17; M pauses preening to squee
5:34:43; squees again 5:35:35 & 5:38:54; stretches 5:47:13; M starts in on
the remaining nestover squirrel 5:48:08; M tries to gulp down the squirrel
6:03:28 but doesn't succeed; tries again 6:04:41; stops to scratch 6:05:58,
tries again 6:05:22, IR light on 6:09:53 & M is still working on the
squirrel; M finally gulps it down 6:15:18; M to LB 6:18:53 & out 6:19:01pm.
