IR light off 6:18:25am; M can be heard 11:24:55, 11:25:09, & 11:25:21; M flies in the BSD & lands heavily on the nest 11:25:35; while waiting for D, M sits, looks & preens; D in FD w/stick 12:10:12; M rouses12:20:27; D hops onto RB 12:34:29; and out 12:34:42; Flyby behind nest as M watches 12:37:41; D in BSD w/stick 12:37:57; D to RB 12:45:56; D rouses 12:46:38; and out 12:46:55; M still on the nest soaking up the sun 1:12:01, she scratches an itch 1:13:01; two big ol’ crop drops 1:21:34; M up, over LB & out FD 1:30:03; Cam 1 reset 3:30; IR light on 9:04:36pm.

(Cam clock not adjusted to DST): IR light off 6:11:24am; D in BSD 2:33:41; D shakes his head 2:34:12; D squats down 2:35:07 & pecks at fluff; D stands up 2:41:12 & turns to look out over the right rail; D flies out over the RB 2:45:40; M in BD w/fluff 6:54:14, she spreads the fluff & pecks around getting her beak all dirty; D lands on LB 6:55:59 & immediately hops to nest to check in w/M & do some pecking in the fluff; M pulls a stick from the front rail 6:56:02 & drops it in front of D 6:56:05 then she digs in the nest; M crop drops 6:58:50 & D digs in the nest; both look around for a bit, then D starts excavating 7:03:05; M & D beak 7:04:11; D works on front rail 7:04:36; M hops to the back of the nest 7:05:13 & looks out the BD; M out BSD 7:05:40; D watches M leave then walks to the back of the nest 7:13:43; D out BSD 7:15:03; IR light on 7:28:25pm.

(Cam clock not adjusted to DST): IR light off 6:25:18am; M in BSD 6:38:25; D in BSD 6:38:35; both dig in the nest; M bites on the pesky stick that's poking out from the left side, but it's firmly stuck in position 6:39:02; D to LB 6:43:12 & out 6:43:19; M out BSD 6:43:43; M in FD 8:37:41; D approaches nest 8:39:58, flies in BD w/fluff 8:40:01; both dig around with D doing most of the work; feisty beaking 8:43:46; D lays down 8:44:04, he gets up & grabs a branch to move & tweak it 8:44:40 & M backs up to get out of his way; D digs in bole then lays down 9:27:18; M moves & D beaks her 9:54:36; D gets up 9:55:15 & digs in the bole; D lays down again 9:59:08; M & D still on the nest 10:50:00; M startles D 11:02:58 & he gets up; D to LB 11:05:09 & out 11:05:40; M out BSD 12:11:39; >>> Cam 1 reset 12:57-ish. M in BSD 2:07:29; D in BSD w/stick 2:09:52, he sets it down & tugs on the protruding stick & then grabs a large twiggy stick from left rail & moves it (2:10:05) to the right rail; in the meantime, M has been fluffing fluff & D joins her 2:10:44; by 2:12:10 the fluffing is done & M & D sit quietly nest to each other enjoying the day, but not for long because the pesky protruding stick gets D’s attention so he heads over to it & attempts to move it 2:13:09, which is a no-go so he tweaks it instead; M starts the 1st of many crop drops 2:26:20; shadow passes behind nest & whoever cast it gets D's attention 2:26:43; more crop drops by M 2:26:45; D to LB 2:26:56 & out 2:27:02; M crop drops 2:27:10; M spends a long while looking around, preening, etc., then hops to LB 3:57:28 & out 3:57:30; D in BSD w/fluff 4:0:15, digs in the nest, looks around then lays down 4:15:47, enjoys the beautiful afternoon mostly lounging on the nest, repositions a couple of times but is content to lay around; M flies toward the nest 6:07:48 & past it on the left side; D stands up 6:08:04; M in BSD w/stick 6:08:14; D pretends to be working by tweaking sticks at the front of the nest 6:08:22 and then digging; M nips at that pesky stick 6:08:57 then both dig in the fluff; M goes back to the pesky stick 6:09:53, not making much headway, while D tweaks a stick on the front rail; D works on back-right rail 6:12:07 while M tries taming the pesky stick again; Both dig in the nest 6:16:30; a bit of beaking 6:18:30 then D turns to work on rail near Twiggy; D to LB 6:23:54 & out 6:24:35; D in BSD w/stick 6:28:55, he places it at the front door 6:29:11 then trims it; D's turn to take on the pesky stick again 6:30:54 & he manages to move it a bit so he starts trimming the new stick 6:31:45; D to LB 6:38:08 & out 6:38:15; D in BSD w/small stick 6:49:42 and both M & D look glorious in the golden light; M nips at D's wing feather 6:51:42; D nips at pesky stick "Pokey" 6:58:26 & M digs in the nest; D to LB 6:59:10 & out 6:59:41; M out BSD 7:01:35; IR light off 7:19:09pm.

IR light off 6:45:50; M flies toward nest 6:50:54 & in BD w/stick 6:50:57; M picks up the stick 6:51:49 and places on right-front rail; D flies toward nest 6:53:27 & in BSD 6:53:30; both pick at fluff; M swipes her head on her shoulder and it leads to some beaking 6:54:17; M backs up onto the right rail 6:56:37, more beaking 6:56:39; M hops back onto nest 6:57:49; M out BSD 6:59:10; D out BSD 7:00:08; >>> Cam 1 reset, M on nest 9:07:17, M out BSD 9:35:21; M glides in BSD beautifully w/branch 9:45:45 & places it on back right rail 9:46:07; M grabs branch from front rail & moves it to the back of nest 9:46:36; M picks up a small branch & just moves it aside 9:46:42, she moves a twig & then aerates the bole 9:47:00; chores finished for the time being, M takes a break 9:48:30, crop drop 9:57:48, then back to work nestorizing & tugging on branches 9:58:07; M rests again for a spell before hopping to LB 10:15:20 & out 10:15:29; no nest activity through noon; >>>Cam down most of the afternoon, back online at 5:07pm. M lands on LB 6:49:38 & calls to D 6:49:43; D lands on LB 6:59:50; M hops to nest 6:49:52; D comes in view 6:50:02 & hops to nest 6:50:12; D pecks at some fluff, then turns to nip on Twiggy 6:52:22; M out BSD 6:54:27 & D follows 6:55:03; IR light on 6:59:19pm.

MORN: M resting comfortably at 6:00:00; M calls out to D 7:05:56; IR light off 7:26:28; S/C #1 D in BSD w/fluff 7:26:52; D moves a stick & M gets up 7:27:24, M out BSD 7:27:54; D rolls his eggs 7:28:08 & shimmies down 7:28:25; D up for egg duty 8:27:20; S/C #2 M in FD w/fluff 8:34:49, D ignores her at first but then gets up at 8:35:15; he steps away from the bole jabbering & hops to LB 8:35:32, he tells M, “I’ll see you later, honey” & takes off 8:35:51; M rolls eggs 8:36:37, snuggles down 8:38:06; M stands up for egg duty 9:21:40, 10:12:34; S/C #3 D in BSD w/stick 11:37:56 which lands on M, M stands up 11:37:59, D helps get the stick off M 11:38:08, M goes to LB 11:38:28 & out 11:38:38, D tries to duck under the stick as he heads to the eggs 11:38:46, but opts to backup then walk around it 11:38:56, rolls eggs 11:39:03 & snuggles down 11:39:23; D messes with stick then checks on eggs 11:40:36; more stick work then checks eggs 11:42:28; Finally gets fed up with stick and gets up 11:55:54 and moves it to left side of nest 11:56:04; rolls eggs 11:56:17; snuggles down 11:56:25; S/C #4 M in FD w/fluff 12:23:03; M preens her wing then waits for D to move 12:23:34; D greets her 12:23:08; M almost puts fluff on D 12:23:14; D gets up 12:24:14; D to RB 12:24:44; and out 12:25:09 as M makes her way to bole; rolls eggs 12:25:16; M wiggles onto eggs 12:27:03; M up for egg duty 1:26:37 (listen closely for chirps 1:27:59); M up again for egg duty 1:35:39 (listen for the chirps at 1:35:55); M crop drop 2:18:54; M preens 2:19:00 & gives her eggs several good rolls 2:19:18, she shimmies down 2:20:34; S/C #5 D in FD w/squirrel 2:41:37 & M thanks him by chirping softly, D picks up stick as if to place on M 2:47:03, M stands up 2:43:17, D heads over to the eggs 2:44:15, M hops to LB 2:44:29, D rolls eggs 2:44:32, M flies out 2:44:40, D snuggles down 2:44:46; S/C #6 M in FD 3:02:25, D's not budging or taking the hint from M's chirps, M rouses 3:07:16, M moves to back of nest and gives D the stink eye 3:09:24, they have a chirp-off to go with the stand-off (lol); after ignoring her, D finally meets her gaze 3:12:00, D slowly stands up & moves away from the eggs 3:12:10, D to LB 3:12:33, D turns around on the LB as M moves to the eggs 3:12:47, M rolls eggs 3:12:53, D flies off 3:13:01, M snuggles down 3:14:15; from her prone position, M grabs D’s stick 3:15:14 & tries to move it (she should have left it alone); she ends up getting up, getting tangled in it & tripping over it, not to mention almost causing it to land on the eggs 3:15:34; M uses everything but the kitchen sink to get that branch moved & under control; i.e., beak, wings, talons & brute strength; she finally gets it propped up on the right rail 3:18:05 & snuggles down 3:19:30. M stays hunkered down for the rest of the afternoon protecting her eggs from the rain; IR on 6:36:51; M still hunkered down 6:50:12pm. Cam 1 reset 7:13:07pm.

Pip Watch – 39 days for Egg #1 & 36 days for Egg #2. EARLY MORN: M wakes up & gets up with a shimmy 1:20:48am, slowly flapping her wings in the process; She rouses 1:21:07 & preens then rolls eggs & aerates the bole 1:28:38; M backs up from the bole 1:26:39, steps to the side & calls out to D 1:27:00, flaps her wings 1:27:03, calls out again 1:27:05 & chatters a bit; she preens her brood patch 1:27:39, PS off the back left rail 1:29:16 then heads to the bole; she rolls her eggs & aerates the bole 1:29:44; M repositions & shimmies down 1:31:01; M up for egg duty 2:37:38; M up for egg duty 4:36:20 & 5:14:05, she rouses to shed the rain. MORN: 6:00am & M is sleeping; M preens a bit before tucking her head for Zzzzz’s 6:16:15; S/C #1 M gets up 6:52:46, she preens then moves away from bole 6:54:07; M gives a little chirp 6:54:23, looks for D then flies out BSD 6:54:46; D in BD 6:55:30, he rolls his eggs & shimmies down 6:56:12; D stands up to roll eggs 7:11:20; IR light off 7:12:02; D up for egg duty 8:08:24, 8:39:30; S/C #2 D stands up 9:32:52 & M flies in FD w/fluff 9:32:53, D talks to M 9:32:54 then hops to LB 9:33:01 & out 9:33:08, M spreads fluff 9:33:25 then looks around (tracking D?) 9:33:52; M rolls eggs & fluffs fluff 9:36:42, snuggles down 9:38:09; M crop drop 10:45:50; D in to LB w/fluff 10:47:46; D shuffles down branch to nest 10:47:56; since M isn't budging, D nibbles at a few sticks on left side 10:49:19; D turns and goes out FD over LB 10:49:52; fluff-n-roll 12:24:48; M watches something 1:18:15, vocal 1:18:24 & continues tracking; M chirps 1:26:18; S/C #3 D lands on LB w/stick 1:35:02, M stands up 1:35:10, D steps to nest to place his stick 1:35:17, M to LB 1:35:28 & out 1:35:33, D rolls eggs 1:35:45, snuggles down 1:35:59; D repositions/rolls eggs 2:06:42, 3:10:33, 3:14:15, 4:16:21; S/C #4 M in BD w/fluff 4:17:05, D asks her why she insists on landing on him then gets up 4:17:28; D hops to RB 4:17:35 & out 4:17:47; M rolls her eggs & aerates 4:19:15, she snuggles down 4:21:21; Cam 1 reset 6:07:02; . . . IR light on 6:43:08; M up for egg duty 6:49:18, 6:54:05; Rocky is surprised to see M & flies right past her 7:24:58; M shimmies as she gets up for egg duty 8:33:57, she preens her brood patch 8:35:40, tends to her eggs then calls out to D 8:38:13 & they have a bedtime chat; more chatter from M 8:39:14; M finally snuggles down 8:45:07, but calls out to D in the process (don’t know what has her petticoat in a wad); M up again for egg duty 8:49:16, she tucks herself in 8:52:30pm; . . . M is sleeping at 11:00:00pm; all seems right in the loblolly pine in Berry Land – all we need is a pip or two.

M wakes up & chatters with D 6:49:57am; tucks head to catch a few more zzz's 6:56:23; M wakes again 7:05:00; calls to D 7:05:31 & crop drops; another crop drop 7:05:52; calls out 7:08:24; D chatters in the background 7:09:54 & M answers 7:09:59; fly-by behind nest 7:15:27  M yells a greeting 7:15:32; S/C #1 D lands on LB 7:15:36; IR light off 7:15:49; M stands up 7:16:13 & both chatter; M moves away from eggs 7:16:30 & flies out BSD 7:16:50, D to nest 7:17:00, rolls eggs 7:17:14, snuggles down 7:17:21; Cam 1 reset 7:41am; D up for egg duty 7:54:15, 8:04:19, 8:42:23 & 8:57:12; D calls out 9:20:36; D stands up 9:24:38, calls for M 9:24:47, S/C #2 D flies out FDB 9:24:53, M heard chattering in the background 9:25:02, M in FD 9:25:27, M vocal 9:25:37; M tracks D as he flies behind nest 9:25:43; she looks around for a few then makes her way toward her precious eggs 9:27:10; rolls them 9:27:27; shimmies onto eggs 9:29:01; nope, false alarm; after many more adjustments, M settles 9:31:43; preening 9:51:45; crop drop 9:52:34; Nice fly in as D comes in BSD w/fluff 10:18:04; He moves it closer to M 10:18:10; D out BSD 10:21:03; M gets up 10:27:23; spreads D's fluff 10:27:48; rolls n fluffs eggs 10:30:28; finally settles on eggs 10:32:32; egg duty 11:12:18; adjusts position a bit 11:19:45; M preens 11:47:43; then gets up 11:47:51; stretches 11:48:23; moves to pantry to spread fluff 11:48:44; M rouses 11:51:19; scratches an itch then preens belly 11:51:33; M makes way back to bole to fluff and roll 11:52:56; shimmies onto eggs 11:55:20; wiggle, wiggle; she gets back up 11:56:47; settles again 11:58:04; M shifts and spreads wings a bit as she kicks with her feet to get more comfy 12:30:32; M preens her wing 12:44:05 then gets up 12:44:46; spreads some fluff 12:45:24, moves away from eggs 12:45:46, stretches 12:45:55, preens 12:46:24; tends to eggs 12:47:40; wiggles onto eggs 12:49:25; M starts squeeing as D approaches 2:17:52, D in FD w/headless fish 2:17:55; S/C #3 M stands up 2:18:00, M claims the fish 2:18:28, as M eats D rolls the eggs 2:19:26, D shimmies down 2:19:59, M gets a nice grip on the fish with her good foot 2:20:37; D rolls eggs 2:22:17; M gulps down the rest of the fish 2:22:29; M to LB 2:23:00 & out 2:23:04; D gets up for egg duty 2:53:06, 2:56:00, 3:29:44, 4:16:38, 4:40:58, 5:29:18; D gets up 5:50:35; moves pelt to pantry 5:50:56; D hops to LB 5:51:20; hops back to nest 5:51:47; rolls eggs 5:51:58; snuggles down 5:52:04; D up for egg duty 6:11:29, 6:13:04; S/C #4 M flies behind nest 6:31:16 D stands up 6:31:19, D calls to M 6:31:35, M in BSD 6:31:37, D to LB 6:31:47 & out 6:31:53, D flies past right side of nest 6:32:01, M rolls-n-fluffs 6:33:10, IR light on 6:34:10, M snuggles down 6:35:21pm.

S/C #2 M in BSD w/fluff in left talons 10:43:07, M picks up fluff with beak to spread it 10:42:28, M rolls-n-fluffs 10:44:09, wiggles down onto eggs 10:46:16; a blackbird (crow?) climbs up side of nest & M does a half-wingslap 10:57:31; M up for egg duty 11:11:48, 12:37:55, 1:18:11 & 1:22:45; M pulls fluff up & a pinecone stick in the process 1:23:41, she beaks the stick & moves it out of the way 1:23:50; M up for egg duty 1:24:01, 2:10:46 (extensive fluffing) & 2:13:18; M up 2:58:11, preens 2:58:29 & slowly backs away from eggs, PS off the back rail 2:59:48 then calls to D; M up for egg duty 3:00:37, snuggles down 3:02:06. S/C #3 M squees as D approaches nest 3:29:33; D in BSD w/fluff 3:29:34; M chirps as she gets up 3:29:46, M to LB 3:30:08 & out 3:30:11; D checks his eggs 3:30:32 & snuggles down 3:30:46; D up for egg duty 3:42:22 & 3:57:50; D tracks M flying around 6:08:25 & calls to her 6:08:45, S/C #4 M in BSD 6:08:54, D stands up 6:08:58, D to RB 6:09:10, D & M chatter 6:09:19, D takes off 6:09:33, D flies past the right side & behind nest 6:09:40, M calls out 6:09:49 & gets the last word in 6:10:07, M uses wing for balance 6:11:17, rolls-n-fluffs 6:11:26, lays down 6:12:20, repositions 6:12:47 & rolls eggs 6:13:10, snuggles down 6:13:22; M repositions again 6:13:43; IR light on 6:20:40pm.

M gets up to tend to her eggs 6:26:57am, she rolls & fluffs 6:27:25; she preens, rolls/fluffs again then snuggles down 6:28:45; M up again 7:13:57; she fluffs calls out to D 7:14:25, repositions & snuggles down 7:14:56; M chirps loudly 7:26:35; IR light off 7:26:40; intermittent chirps & soft squees as she waits for D; crop drop 7:51:06. S/C #1 M gets up 7:51:29 squeeing louder, she hops to LB 7:51:56 & out 7:51:59; D lands on LB 7:52:23 before hopping to nest 7:52:26, he checks his eggs & snuggles down 7:52:57; D up for egg duty 8:00:39 & 8:26:23 & 8:56:12; S/C #2 D calls out 9:18:30, M in FD w/fluff 9:18:35, D stands up 9:18:37, D flies out BSD 9:18:54, M tends to the eggs 9:20:03, pulls in fluff to get comfy 9:21:38, rolls/fluffs 9:33:12 & 10:30:19; D flies toward the nest 11:21:34 and in BSD w/fluff 11:21:38, M chirps softly & pulls in the fluff 11:22:08, she doesn't seem to want to take a break, but  finally stands up 11:24:10, S/C #3 M to LB 11:24:33 & out 11:24:43, D rolls eggs 11:24:55 then wiggles down onto them 11:25:11; D vocal as he tracks something 11:33:56; M flies behind nest 12:09:01, D stands up 12:09:11, S/C #4 M in FD w/small stick 12:09:12 & D chatters, D to RB 12:09:36 & out 12:09:52, M moves twig 12:10:36 then rolls/fluffs 12:10:47 before wiggling down 12:12:07; M calls out 12:38:34; calls again 12:47:34; calls get really loud as she throws back her head and alerts 12:49:09, D flies by in background 12:49:25 & lands on back tree and starts chattering; M stands up 12:49:35 & rearranges fluff 12:50:10, M rolls eggs & fluffs fluff, continuing to chirp. (Per BEP: Dad in tree behind nest. They must have saw something I couldn’t see.) M shimmies down onto eggs 12:52:39 & rearranges fluff; D chatters in the background 1:18:03 & M answers him; D moves to a different branch on back tree 1:18:19; D flies behind nest 1:21:27 & lands on LB 1:21:36 as M yells a greeting; S/C #5 M stands up 1:22:07 (still talking), D talks back 1:22:22, M hops to pantry area 1:22:37 & flies out BSD 1:22:55, D hops to nest 1:23:10, rolls eggs 1:23:18, shimmies down 1:23:24; D amuses himself for the next forty minutes by looking around & pecking at the outlying fluff; D moves a twig while he gets up 2:03:52 for egg duty; D up for egg duty 2:49:36 & 3:23:37; D calls out/alerts 3:27:16 & gets up 3:27:31 still vocalizing; he turns back to check his eggs (he has a stick stuck in his feathers) 3:27:56 & shimmies down 3:28:19; D calls to M 3:26:15, stands up & calls some more 3:27:31, rolls eggs 3:28:04, lays back down 3:28:17; D stands up 4:56:16, calls to M 4:56:25, rolls eggs 4:56:51, wiggles down 4:57:02; repositions 4:58:23; S/C #6 D gets up 5:06:20, hops to RB 5:06:34, calls to M, and flies out 5:06:42, M in FD 5:07:19, rolls-n-fluffs 5:08:00, lays down 5:10:42; M moves a small stick 5:24:22 & pulls fluff up close before getting up for egg duty 5:24:38, she rolls/fluffs & seems to be listening to the loud sirens 5:25:06; she repositions, fluffs some more 5:25:24, gives the eggs a roll 5:25:32 and more fluffing before snuggling down 5:26:52; M up again for egg duty 5:27:24 & 5:57:26; M tracks D & chirps 6:04:41; D in BSD w/headless fish 6:04:49 and M squees her thanks, M stands up 6:06:10 & heads to pantry, D flies out BSD 6:06:31, M grabs the fish & starts eating 6:06:35, M gulps down the rest of the fish 6:11:06, moves over to tend the eggs 6:11:40, snuggles down 6:12:38; IR light on 6:30:33pm.

M up 3:09:07 to preen & egg duty 3:09:06am; M sleeps w/her head tucked until 4:46:29 when she gets up for egg duty; she stretches her wings out as she moves away from eggs 4:48:31 for a big PS 4:48:48; M vocalizes 4:48:51 while perched on right rail then carefully makes her way back to her eggs 4:49:18, she rolls/fluffs & snuggles down 4:50:30; M tucks her head 4:59:16; M wakes up & calls out & chatters to D 5:52:26; M gets up for egg duty 5:53:20, she snuggles down 5:55:23. M stayed on the nest over night; M does a few crop drops 7:13:35; D flies toward the nest 7:38:53 & in BSD 7:38:56; M starts fluffing the fluff 7:39:07 & D helps 7:39:37; IR light off 7:41:08; D rouses 7:43:01; D to LB 7:45:21 & out 7:45:57; M stands quietly, knee-deep in fluff for a long time, finally shows interest in something & looks around 9:03:56; M out BSD 9:04:54, dragging some fluff to the edge of the nest; D in FD w/UFO (furry, footed, bare-tailed mangled mess) 10:29:09; M lands on LB with a squee 10:29:56, hops to nest to claim her breakfast 10:30:13; D starts pulling up big piles of fluff & rearranging it 10:30:17; M starts eating 10:31:02; D rouses 10:31:54; D out BSD 10:33:00; M tries to gobble down the pelt 10:59:48 but can't; she tries again 11:00:04 & gets it down this time; M out BSD 11:02:52; D in BSD w/mangled fowl (coot?) 11:38:13; D nibbles on the food 11:39:04 but backs away instead of eating it; D out BSD 11:40:12; D in FD w/fluff 11:54:55; D to LB 11:57:56 &  out 11:58:15; D lands on LB 12:22:31, hops to nest as M comes in under LB w/fluff 12:22:34; M drags the food to the edge of the nest & starts eating 12:23:23; D to RB 12:28:40 & out 12:29:08; M out BSD 12:42:30; M in FD w/greenery (small pine stick) 12:53:25; D in FD 12:53:59; M nibbles a bit on nestovers & D digs in the fluff; D to LB 1:01:52 & out 1:02:02; D circles around behind nest tree 1:31:26, D in FD w/big twiggy stick 1:31:58; D places stick on M, hitting her with it as he tries to move it 1:32:09; M tries to take the stick 1:32:20, D gets it back 1:32:23 & moves it to the front of the nest; M backs up onto right rail to get out of his way 1:32:53 & she bites on Twiggy while she's there; D puts a stick on M's tail 1:34:23, then picks it up & circles trying to find the right spot 1:34:36 (bumping into M in the process); D moves over to check out the nestovers 1:37:08, takes a few nibbles 1:37:30; M beaks D's beak 1:39:05; D's turn to work on Twiggy 1:40:40 (bumping into M again); M raises her left foot & has to flap her wings to keep her balance since a talon is stuck in the rail 1:48:00, M moves to the back of nest to tweak the fluff 1:48:38 as D works on sticks at the front rail; D goes over to where M is to move a stick 1:49:15, M nips him 1:49:22 (nest doesn't seem to be big enough for both of them when D is in renovation mode, lol); D moves back over to where M is 1:50:40 to work on the fluff, he finds a bite to eat 1:51:20 & M stares at him; D finds another crumb & moves it to the pantry 1:51:53; D flies out BD 1:53:05; M out BSD 2:16:09; D flies toward nest 2:37:44 & in BD w/big stick 2:37:47; M in FD w/stick 2:40:42; M finally places her stick left front 2:41:07; D grabs M's stick 2:41:36 and places it on right rail 2:41:44; D aerates bole 2:43:13; D walks onto Y-nook 2:49:46; hops onto LB facing toward back of nest 2:50:07; and out 2:50:24; M watches area for a while then moves toward bole 3:13:44; fluffs it up 3:14:24; semi lays down and pulls fluff around herself 3:14:45; M gets more comfortable and lays down 3:16:09; M gets up 3:50:00, preens her chest feathers 3:56:25; she stretches 4:11:54; M grabs coot wing and begins eating 4:42:24; M hops to LB 4:52:03; and out 4:52:10; gunshots 5:40:55 & 5:41:07; E flies by on right side heading to a tree behind the nest 5:52:20; different E heads the same way 5:52:42; Fly-by behind nest 5:54:17; M in FD 5:54:28; fluffs bole 5:54:41; IR light comes on 5:57:22; Cam 1 reset 5:58pm; M lays down 6:41:32; Rocky climbs over the left rail 7:10:13, boldly jumps onto the nest while M is snuggled in the bole 7:10:17, M jumps up and wingslaps 7:10:19 & 7:10:21 causing Rocky to hop to the back of the Cam 2 branch, then he vacates the area 7:10:24 as M performs a few more half-hearted wingslaps.

EARLY MORN: M (or someone/thing) misses the nest an attempt to enter the nest via FD 3:28:16am; M in BSD 3:28:53, she chatters to D 3:29:05; M tucks her head for a quick preen & rest 4:03:14; crop drop 5:47:46; M beak-plows the bole then lays down 6:06:18; D lands on LB 7:07:19, vocalizes, scratches head, moves down LB, then to nest 7:08:35; after checking out the bole, D lays down just-a-kickin’ those feet (his backside is towards cam so you can really see him good, lol) 7:10:46; D to RB 7:15:52 & out 7:16:09; M out BSD 7:21:24; IR light off 7:25:09. M in FD w/a long curved branch 8:50:41 & gets tripped up in the process; D in FD w/fluff 8:51:56; they both struggle w/M’s stick trying to get it placed 8:52:49; D finally gets it over on the left rail 8:53:37; D out BSD 8:57:56 leaving M alone on the nest; M calls out 9:31:48; M continues to call out every few mins, starts getting louder & more frequent 9:58:02, reaches a crescendo 9:58:51 as D flies in BSD w/squirrel 9:58:53; M claims the squirrel 9:59:03 & continues to "talk" to D; M starts eating 9:59:54 & D starts aerating the fluff; D flies to 11-o'clock branch 10:05:40, flies off 10:07:51; M finishes eating, looks around for a while, flies out BSD 11:17:59; eagle lands on LB (D?) 11:19:23; E rouses 11:36:32; E flies off 11:43:49; M in FD w/stick 12:29:02; M spends several hours in the nest enjoying the beautiful sunshine; M tracking something 2:30:38, vocally alerts 2:30:59, continues tracking; M rouses 2:40:47, then resumes staring at something; M out BSD 2:43:34. Cam 1 reset 5:40:36; M flies behind nest & lands on back tree 5:58:43; D in BSD 5:58:49, he looks around for a few minutes then heads out the BD 6:01:45; IR light on 6:02:08pm.

M in BSD 12:42:15pm; D in BSD 12:44:50; M starts calling out 12:47:10; D snuggles down in the bole 12:47:56; M flies out FD 12:48:44; D stands up to watch her 12:48:54; D out BSD 1:08:40; M in FD 1:39:16; M starts squeeing 2:21:18; D in FD w/coot 2:21:29; M grabs it 2:21:32 & gulps most of it down whole 2:21:46; M picks up the coot head 2:24:04 & tries eating it more slowly as D fluffs the fluff; D rouses 2:24:26; D to RB 2:24:45 while M is still nibbling on remaining coot; M crop drops 2:29:56 & feaks 2:30:26; M crop drops (or something akin to it like maybe trying to cast a pellet, lol) 3:10:55 & again a minute or so later; M steps to bole & fluffs the fluff 3:12:43; D in BSD w/fluff 3:29:06, drops the fluff & looks romantically at M then they both spread the new fluff 3:29:47; D lays down 3:31:36; D gets up and says to M, “Watch this”, as he proceeds to rouse & shake his feathers 3:33:30; D half-heartedly works on Twiggy 3:36:13; D checks out left-front rail 3:39:08, moves a stick 3:39:51; P's touch beaks 3:39:56; D lays down 3:40:15; D stands up 4:02:32 & digs in the fluff; D rouses 4:03:13; D to LB 4:04:38; M stretches 4:04:48 then moves to center of nest & digs in the bole; D flies out 4:05:29; M squees softly 4:35:04, backs up a few steps, then preens; M works her way to the center of the nest & fluffs the fluff 4:36:31; lowers herself into the bole 4:37:29; D almost lands on M as he comes in BSD w/twiggy stick 5:14:08; M stands up & struggles to get out of his way 5:14:10; M out BSD 5:16:45; D to LB 5:17:20 & out 5:18:17; D in BSD 5:56:15; D lays down 5:58:02 kicking his feet to snuggle in; D stands up 5:58:52; flash of white as M flies behind the nest 5:59:25; IR light on 6:00:25; D out BD 6:00:52pm.

M slept in the bole most of the night, she gets up at 5:15:06, PS off the back rail 5:57:33; M calls out to D 6:55:51 & 7:01:39; D in BSD 7:02:01, he gets right to work fluffing the bole 7:02:11 & M joins in 7:02:40; M out BSD 7:09:19, D out over LB 7:09:27; IR light off 7:16:07; D flies by on right side 7:27:48 then flies in BD w/squirrel 7:27:54; He looks around then starts eating 7:32:48; D finishes eating and digs in bole 8:06:59; D hops to the 11 o'clock branch 8:16:20; He flies off 8:18:08; D in FD w/pinecone branch 8:22:16; Places it on left side then trims 8:22:24; breaks off a pinecone 8:23:55; works on front rail 8:25:07; Watches the area for a bit then fluffs bole 8:38:44; After watching the area for a bit, he lays down in bole kicking with his feet to shape it 9:52:34; gets up to stretch 10:33:30; rouses 10:35:06; He watches area then goes out BD 11:07:18; D in FD w/fluff 11:12:28; rouses 11:15:04; D moves squirrel then has a snack 11:32:29; really watches something 11:48:31; looking straight up 11:48:56; alerts 11:49:47; D moves to bole 11:50:49; M in to LB 11:52:21; to nest 11:52:39; D moves a big piece of fluff 11:52:59; D works on left rail 11:55:02; back to bole 11:55:35; D tries to trim Twiggy some more 11:56:24; D moves to bole making M back onto the right front rail 11:59:22; M crop drop 11:59:38; D trims front rail 12:01:20; he rouses 12:08:45; D moves to back rail to do adjustments 12:10:20; M yawns 12:10:32; D flies onto the 11 o'clock branch 12:11:39; flies off to the left 12:15:17; Eagle approaches from the back trees (D?) and does a fly-by to the right 12:16:50; tries to land on left side under LB 12:17:13; M looking up watching 12:17:23; D lands on outer LB 12:17:29; M still tracking something 12:17:30; D calls out from LB 12:17:36 & 12:18:18; can hear a hawk in the distance 12:18:23; M digs in bole 12:19:49; D may of flown off 12:20:08; M crop drop 12:50:21 & 12:58:54; M notices the remains of the squirrel 1:36:17; she picks at it 1:36:42; moves it 1:37:46; M spent a lot of her nest time surveying her domain; M out BSD 1:54:12; D in BD 3:02:20; rouses 3:10:50; after watching around for a bit, D snacks on the squirrel 3:30:43; D out BSD 3:54:28; D in BD w/big stick 5:35:35; after dancing around with it, he steps on it so he can trim it 5:36:13; he moves it to under cam 2 branch 5:36:42; then by Twiggy 5:37:06; he nibbles on Twiggy 5:38:01; Moves to pick up squirrel 5:39:17; Starts eating 5:39:31; IR comes on 5:57:40 & 5:57:54; D to LB 5:58:07 and out 5:58:42; Rocky appears on back rail 6:55:39; he chews on leftovers 7:08:07; He takes it across the nest and over the side 7:13:53pm.
