M calls to D 7:01:35 & chatters; calls out & chatters some more 7:12:37. S/C #1 M starts squeeing 7:14:46 & D lands on LB 7:14:48 & M talks to him; D starts down the LB as M gets up 7:15:23 & they talk ever so sweetly; M moves away from the eggs 7:15:57; D moves down LB 7:16:30 & M flies out the BSD 7:16:32; D steps onto the nest 7:16:49 & checks his eggs then snuggles down 7:17:13; D up for egg duty 7:20:12; IR light off 7:23:58, can see now that D has a feather stuck in his nare; D up for egg duty 7:56:49, 8:02:07 & 9:06:24. S/C #2 M in FD w/fluff 9:19:59 & D gets up 9:20:09 while M spreads the fluff; D hops to RB 9:20:22 & out ? (couldn’t tell when he left); M rolls/fluffs 9:21:04, pulls fluff up close 9:23:09, repositions 9:23:37, rolls/fluffs again & shimmies down 9:24:09; M nibbles on pinecone 9:36:02; she pulls more fluff up on her right wing 10:00:29 (must be drafty, lol); M stayed snuggled down with her eggs & fluff for over an hour before getting up again for egg duty at 11:14:46; a little bird landed on the left front of nest 11:56:10 & M spreads both wings quickly in defense mode 11:56:12; she keeps her wings spread until she gets up for egg duty at 12:11:45; M starts to squee 12:47:41 as something (D? or crow?) lands on 11’o’clock branch 12:47:42; M throws her head back & squees loudly 12:47:46 then squees softly, she chatters 1:03:40, squees softly 1:05:42, squees louder 1:08:48; M continues to squee intermittently; (D? or crow?) flies off 11-o’clock branch at 1:11:02; M up for egg duty 1:14:13; M spends the next 1 ½ hours scoping out the area & basking in the sun, she preens 2:43:45. S/C #3 M chirps & D lands on LB 3:24:14; M tells D she’s happy to see him & gets up 3:24:23, hops over to BSD 3:24:48 & out 3:24:54; D makes his way down the LB 3:25:25, steps onto nest 3:25:33, checks his eggs & shimmies down 3:25:59; D up for egg duty 3:55:27, 4:07:48 & 4:39:39; D up for egg duty 5:04:28. S/C #4 M in BSD with a few twigs 5:07:25 & D gives her an earful; M tells D, “Oh, honey, I haven’t been gone that long.” D gets up 5:08:19, he tells M good-bye & out the BSD he goes 5:08:31, M tracks D’s departure; M finally makes her way to the bole 5:11:41, she fluffs/rolls & lays down 5:13:39; M up for egg duty 5:28:19; M chirps as D flies in the FD w/fluff 6:22:36; M & D exchange a few quiet words & then D flies out the BD 6:25:16; M gets up 6:26:22 & moves carefully to the new fluff & spreads it 6:26:50; mission accomplished M goes back to the bole to fluff/roll, she shimmies down 6:29:22 but gets right back up to roll/fluff & reposition, she snuggles down 6:29:53; IR light on 6:36:48pm.
