Pip Watch – 38 days for Egg #1 & 35 days for Egg #2. IR light off 7:18:24; M gives her eggs a wiggle 7:25:20, spreads little bits of fluffs in front of her 7:25:44 & chirps for D 7:25:49; S/C #1 M gets up 7:31:16, moves to back rail, looks around, flies out BSD 7:31:58; can see D fly-by on approach 7:32:22, he lands on back rail 7:32:24; D rolls his eggs & shimmies down 7:32:55; D up for egg duty 7:35:08 & 8:23:01; S/C #2 M in FD 8:28:26; D says, “hi-dee-ho” & chirps about his morning 8:28:32 & gets up 8:28:44; D hops to RB 8:28:53 & out 8:29:45; M watches D & tracks his movements; M preens a bit, moves to eggs 8:30:50 then rolls-n-fluffs 8:31:03, repositions then rolls-n-fluffs some more 8:31:57, repositions again then shimmies down 8:33:11; M preens 9:00:36; M up for egg duty 9:05:58; M tracks something 9:28:22 & calls out 9:29:22 & an eagle flies behind nest and lands on tree behind Cam2 branch 9:29:33, M keeps her eye on whoever it is; M continues vocalizing 9:32:03, other eagle briefly calls out 9:32:11; M seems to be tracking something different than the E in the back tree 9:35:16; E in back tree flies off 9:42:16; that was probably Dad as he now approaches nest 9:45:04; S/C #3 D in BD w/fluff 9:45:06, D moves fluff off M 9:45:13, then drops fluff back onto her 9:45:18 (trying to get her up?), M stands up 9:45:35, hops to LB 9:45:58 & flies out 9:46:01, D snuggles down 9:46:31; D up to check eggs & reposition 9:46:56; egg duty time 10:11:37, 10:28:16, 10:33:04, 11:02:04, 11:15:56; D spreads wings to deter a nearby bluejay 11:43:11, he rolls eggs 4:43:42, snuggles back down 11:43:51; D stands up 12:48:50 calls out 12:48:58 & 12:49:18, S/C #4 D out BD 12:49:25 as M comes in BSD w/fluff 12:49:26, M calls out "goodbye" 12:49:31, rolls eggs 12:51:29, spreads fluff 12:53:30, rolls eggs 12:53:49, snuggles down 12:55:08 then repositions 12:55:14; M up for egg duty 1:25:54; preens 1:52:42 & 1:58:38; crop drop 2:12:14; S/C #5 D in BSD with a talon full of fluff 2:59:05, they both spread the fluff; M gets up 2:59:37 & hobbles around her eggs towards the LB, M to LB 3:00:04 & out 3:00:09; D heads for his eggs 3:00:26, he gives them a quick roll then shimmies down 3:00:58; D preens 3:10:36; D up for egg duty 3:10:47; rouses 3:27:50 & 3:28:17; egg duty again 3:28:20 & 3:52:44; Cam 1 reset 4:29:29; D up 4:55:58, moves away from eggs & calls out to M 4:56:10; he walks around the bole & gives a peck in the pantry 4:56:27 before checking his eggs 4:56:36; D up for egg duty 5:26:02 & 6:15:25; D rouses 6:15:36 then takes a little stroll before heading back to his eggs 6:16:07 for rolling-n-fluffing, D shimmies down 6:16:49; S/C #6 M lands on LB 6:23:06 (YAY, she beat Bazinga tonight!) & D gets up 6:23:12, says hi & bye to M & hops to LB 6:23:23 & he’s out 6:23:32; M hops to nest 6:24:16, she rolls her eggs 6:24:43 & fluffs the fluff, rolls again 6:25:31; some more rolling & fluffing then some preening 6:27:24 & big-time aerating (she wants that bole warm & snuggy for her babies!), M also spreads some fluff & pulls it close before she snuggles part way down 6:29:25; M continues to pull fluff around the bole trying to get everything just right 6:30:11, she finally shimmies down 6:31:31; IR light on 6:37:00pm.
