S/C #1 M stands up 7:18:21, calls to D 7:18:30, flies out FD 7:18:48, D lands on LB 7:19:17, to nest 7:19:20, rolls eggs 7:19:29 & wiggles down 7:19:39; IR light off 7:23:07; D rolls eggs 7:25:19 & 7:35:46; D tucks head to catch a nap 7:39:54 but quickly untucks & picks at fluff (D: "What, asleep? Me? No, I wasn't sleeping, just resting my eyes!" lol) 7:41:17; tucks head again 7:54:00, untucks (and looks around to see if we noticed that quick nap) 7:57:22; D must have not slept much last night, he tucks his head to catch a few more zzz's 8:02:52; hundreds of red-winged blackbirds start flocking on the ground behind the nest 8:17:13, looking a like a cloud of locusts as they swarm and dance back & forth; D wakes from a nice nap 8:22:52 & picks at fluff; D up for egg duty 8:23:28, 8:28:37; seems to still be sleeps, nods off for a short time 8:43:14; up to roll eggs 8:54:44, 9:04:37, 9:28:53, 10:17:48; D stands up 10:25:53, flies out BSD 10:26:12 for a quick break, D lands on LB 10:27:02, hops to nest 10:27:03, rolls eggs 10:27:13 & lays down; S/C #2 beautiful fly-in the BD by M carrying some dark-colored fluff in her left (aka "wonky") foot 10:29:02, D stands up 10:29:20 then flies out BSD 10:29:33, M rolls-n-fluffs 10:31:10, spreads the fluff she brought in 10:33:57, chirps 10:34:14 then calls out as D lands on LB 10:34:17 and both of them vocally alert 10:34:19 & chatter, quieting down at 10:34:59, D flies off 10:35:13 & M gets back to fluffing-and-rolling; preens 10:37:14, more fluff-n-rolls, finally wiggles down onto eggs 10:38:08; INSERT - Cam 2: M up for egg duty 12:56:04, she rolls-n-fluffs, repositions, pulls the outer fringes of fluff closer to bole, rolls-n-fluffs some more & snuggles down 12:58:16; Cam 1 reset 1:31pm; Cam 1: M up 2:58:57 for egg duty; S/C #3 M up 3:24:51, D lands on LB, out of view, 3:25:04 & they chatter (sounds like M gave him an earful, lol); D makes his way down the LB & steps onto nest 3:26:04; D checks his eggs & shimmies down 3:26:25; D rouses as he gets up for egg duty 3:46:14; D up for egg duty 4:12:08; D up 5:04:39, he looks around, vocalizes, then hops to LB 5:05:16; D out FD 5:05:23; D returns & lands on LB 5:07:01; down the LB he goes & onto the nest 5:07:40, he checks his eggs & shimmies down 5:07:56; S/C #4 D up 5:31:54, looks around, rouses & flies out BD 5:32:15; M soars in the BD 5:33:49 she tends to her eggs, fluffs the fluff, pulls fluff in close & snuggles down 5:37:20; IR light on 6:39:29pm.
