10:19:24, flies to nest 10:19:46, starts picking at nestovers (old squirrel or
rabbit pelt) 10:19:59, IE looks around, picks up pelt 10:20:17, starts
defurring & eating while cautiously keeping an eye out; IE stops eating to
track something 10:30:03, picks up the pelt but drops it 10:30:14, quickly eats
another bite 10:30:36, picks up/drops pelt again 10:30:51; M flies in over RB
10:31:14 & intruder flies out BD; M sounds the alert 10:31:17 & IE
lands on back tree (just behind & to the right of Cam 2 branch); IE leaves
back tree perch & flies toward left side of nest 10:32:38 (possibly landing
on outer left branch at 10:31:42); rustling sounds heard from left side 10:47:23
causes M to vocalize 10:47:26; more rustling sounds & M chirps 10:47:45; M
softly calls again 10:49:298; and IE flies to 11-o'clock branch 10:49:50; M
plays it cool, just standing quietly while keeping an eye out; IE PS's 10:53:29
then turns around 10:53:42 causing M to chirp; loud noise causes both E's to
jump 10:56:20; IE eagle flies off 10:58:14 and M tracks movements; M calls out
11:04:28 & E lands on same back tree 11:04:40; IE leaves back perch
11:05:30 & lands on 11-o'clock branch w/stick in talons 11:05:40; IE picks
up the stick with beak 11:06:00 and turns around, entertains M with lots of
acrobatic moves, but drops stick 11:07:45; IE flies off 11:11:03; M flies out
BSD 12:35:41; E (M?) flies by on right side of nest to back perch 6:42:24,
other E (D?) flies on right side 6:42:49; IR light on 6:56:37pm.
