(Cam
clock not adjusted to DST): IR light off 6:02:05am; E flyby right side of nest
6:02:17; Cam 1 reset 6:02:24; D in BSD w/stick 6:04:44; D, with feather-bling
on his beak, places the stick on the front rail 6:04:49, moves the stick to the
left 6:05:09; D digs in the nest 6:05:16 and ends up with more beak bling
(fluff or string) 6:06:03; D out BSD 6:07:11. D in BSD 12:18:50, he looks
around intently; D puffs up, vocalizes & goes into defense mode as a juvie
lands on RB 12:25:46; after the initial confrontation, D moves away & the
juvie remains perched 12:25:53; D chatters & calls out as he tracks M
12:28:05; M in BSD12:28:23 & she’s not happy; M lets the juvie know in no
uncertain terms of her discontent by vocalizing loudly with D joining in, but
once again the juvie seems unconcerned & remains perched on RB; for the
next 1 ½ hours, it’s a stand-off w/M perched on the back rail, D in the middle
of the nest w/his back to the juvie, who is still perched on the RB; but then D
gets mad when the juvie moves around on the branch 1:48:40 & then has the
nerve to hop down to the right rail 1:49:25; D moves over & M goes
ballistic 1:49:36; juvie starts to put a foot on the nest & M jumps into
action chasing the juvie back to the RB 1:52:31 & vocalizing big time; juvie
finally flies off at 2:19:43 & D tells him/her “good
riddance!”; D sticks around guarding the nest w/M for the next 1 ½ hours then
he flies out the BD 3:39:25; >>>M still on nest 7:00:50 when D flies
in BSD; M to LB 7:05:01 & out 7:05:23; D to LB 7:07:50 & out 7:08:13;
