August 2019
The first three weeks of August were long and hard on B3 Branch Buddies and chatters. The cams were offline for new installation and update for the chat app. But when everything finally came back on the 20th, we were all happy nesters!
We had to wait another week before seeing Mom and Dad on the 27th, and that was a real treat! Dad came back for a few minutes in the evening on the 29th. He may have spent the night in the nest tree (or close by) because in the wee hours of the 30th, he landed on the left branches 12:58:55am and vocalized softly 12:59:06. He hopped to the nest at 1:10:51am, then to the right branch at 1:11:19. D moved into cam view at 6:38:06, hopped to nest 6:39:10 and nipped at the grass. After looking around for a bit, he flew out the back side door at 6:43:44am.
Now we're ready for September and Season 8!

for the upcoming eagle season, there will be times that the live stream may
need to be taken offline in order to conduct maintenance. Currently, the
computers used for streaming are being upgraded and should be brought back
online by early next week. The cameras are not yet being replaced. Thanks for

6:30:00; crow lands on back branch 8:25:25, flies to closer branch 8:25:50 then
to nest 8:26:28, to LB 8:26:45, flies out of cam view 8:26:25, shows back up on
LB 8:31:57, checks out the nest & several other branches before going out
of cam view again 8:35:42. EVENING: D in BSD 8:16:16pm,
he pants to catch his breath, hops to LB 8:17:49 & drags a stick with him,
turns around to face the nest & drops the stick 8:17:57, turns back around
8:18:18 & flies off 8:18:32; IR light on 9:09:53pm.
