IR light off 7:30:39am. E leaves back tree perch 7:36:56; E flies by on right side 7:37:08; M in FD 7:37:11 with D hot on her heels, D lands on LB 3:37:15; D hops to nest to help M aerate the bole 7:37:28; D moves a stick 7:39:04 & M moves a little fluff 7:39:29; D tries out the bole 7:41:04, he says “Nope, not good enough” & gets back up to aerate some more 7:41:09; D rouses right quick 7:41:25; M preens D 7:42:09; a little lovin’ between the two 7:42:10; D rearranges sticks 7:43:21; M aerates bole 7:44:17; D rouses 7:46:14 & flies to 11-o’clock branch 7:46:45; D flies off 7:47:47; D in BSD w/fluff 8:04:10 which M takes from him & spreads then both work on the bole; D to LB 8:10:51 & out 8:11:03; M preens 8:41:28 & again 9:07:18 with a quick rouse; M preens her chest feathers 9:19:12; M out BSD 9:49:20; little bird (pine siskin?) lands in nest tree & flits around 9:52:52. D in BD w/talons full of fluff 10:47:45; D out BSD 11:01:07; M in BD w/fluff in left talon 11:15:12; M uses wing for balance 11:15:20 & 11:15:27 as she spreads the fluff; D flies toward the nest 11:16:07 & in BSD w/fluff 11:16:11 (M is startled & throws out her wings); Both spread fluff & dig in the nest 11:16:31; M moves out of D's way 11:17:07; D works on back-right rail 11:18:07; D rouses 11:19:22; D out BSD 11:20: 49; M squees 11:28:16, 11:28:34, 11:28:49, and 11:29:15; D in FD w/stick 11:29:33 & lands on M; D trips on his stick 11:29:51; M grabs the stick places it at the FD 11:29:55; M starts softly calling out 11:31:47; D out BSD 11:32:29; M digs in nest & rearranges fluff, squats down 11:49:44, then lays down 11:50:34; stands up 1:15:09; M out BSD 1:32:56. D in BD w/UFO (partial roadkill squirrel?) 4:11:56; M flies behind nest 4:12:37 & in BSD 4:12:41; M claims the food 4:13:01, tries to swallow it whole; D steps onto RB 4:13:27 & flies out 4:13:37; M out BSD 4:19:27; D lands on LB 4:21:55 (silent landing, assuming it's D), D hops to nest 5:33:01 then flies out BSD 5:33:17. IR light on 5:52:17pm.
